They took me to a pesantren one time and…

My beard on this side begin to go, really they are pulling my jubbah, pulling my beard and they are rushing me from the back door.

These kind of people.

I didn’t see that here. In some countries maybe in Bangladesh. Is this what happened?

And they came from early morning like from Fajr time, waiting on the streets and they have all these bazaars and vendors selling on the street. The school has 1000 orphans and maybe 5-6000 students who study there and all on baraka.

I was asking Shaykh tawfeeq, how do you feed these people? He said, " Rice” only rice. And I asked him how much does It cost to feed all these people? He said a very low figure, at that time, I remember it didn’t come to $500. 250 dollars to feed all these people. That is what they have rice and they have some sauce the dip it. And they are happy, reading quran, memorizing. Still there are places that Allah’s blessing on them. This area is blessed with teaching Islam like that.

As Mawlana said about the story of the visit to Pekalongen in Southeast Asia we just belong to a greedy nation about baraka. We didn’t understand the Arabic language, but many make study of Arabic language. We are in need of hp and we are in need of Holy Qur'an.

One person in Saudi Arabia, he said, " what is going on with your nation?” always we have a competition for recitation of Qur’an and international. Why always the winner is coming from your country and from Brunei and from Malaysia.

You are in morning Arabic, in afternoon Arabic, in night Arabic. You have no any romanticism with the hp. You are not in it to study the Holy Qur'an. But we are.

We went to study Arabic language until balagha, ar-… and many kind of substudy of Arabic lang. we studied poetry and everything .

Mawlana with very simple sentence but many of us capture the deep meaning. I am not speaking the Arabic language daily but I am reading Holy Qur'an and reading hadith daily.

And I am trying more to give the information of Mawlana to the people. I love them as Mawlana love him. So just some short story or some verses or some sunnat an-Nabi (s). and we are from our young age starting at 4 years old. I am not speaking Arabic language until I am in London much later.

Alhamdulillah we are very lucky as we have many saints and we are on our tradition to sit in front of our scholar and our saint and to listen.

But now everything is just changing in our country. We are in need of something.

I just grew up. They say my grandfather was son of a saint. He doesn’t let me leave him until he finished his awraad of Fajr. He doesn’t let me to move even, then he throws a coin at me and I am so clever collecting coins. By the time of finishing the dhikr, my pocket is full of money.

My father takes me around to neighbor and to ask about their health about their food. No we have no rice. Come ot my house and take rice.

What about your.. what is your intention. I am going to make my ?? much bigger. So if I sell I will get much more money. No, don’t do that. As long as you are making enough, then you don’t need to do. Look the grass is making tasbeeh. So that is enough.

Oh yeah very nice.

And my father talking with me and saying, give to those who have no more clotehs. And then I release my money until no more coins in my pockets.

That is his education. I am so lucky to have something like that in my childhood. Until Mawlana picked me from the banks of the river.

At that time Mawlana had intention to visit Indonesia for 3 weeks, then reduce to 2 weeks. And then reduce to 3 days, then postpone.

Then I called and Mawlana said, "do you like to come to Singapore.” Yes, wh not.

Mawlana said, I have no business with Jakarta. I am only coming on instruction of my master. But if you like me to visit I can come if someone accompany me.

You believe in newspaper not on Qur’an. So what you think is it favor for me to come to Jakarta.

So I was worried that he says, no, for 3 days so I said 2 days. Then Mawlana said, ok taher we are gong to Jakarta for 2 days.

My country has 2000 islands I am going to the big islands only. Whereever I am going they ar asking to see Mawlana when will Mawlana come.

That is my situation I am so happy to be with Mawlana and you. I don’t know what to say, I am just going to listen. That is just highlight story.

I am just thinking that muraqabah is our effort to get out from our laziness. To go out from our bad custom. From our arrogancy. That way if you are sitting around awliya, suddenly at one second we are attracted. That way I said to Mawlana , last 2 days before, after Mawlana explaining about what Mawlana is delivering to us, I said, " I am going to come after you Mawlana ” we are coming to stimulate our intention and our effort in accordance with our master what he is doing like that. Like in the time of sulook we are going after Mawlana .

One day when I was opening such salook at the end of dhul qaidah. I said to my people that we are leaving worldly life and to see Azraeel and to enter our grave and to pass the day of resurrection we are expecting to get shafa`a of Rasulullah anyone leaving dunya even for just a while, insha-Allah dunya doesn’t want to touch in the grave.

One medical doctor said to himself I don’t understand what Shaykh Mustafa said. So he said, " I just want to come to do that.” As soon as he begins, he said, " SubhanAllah. I am not dying but as if entering in my grave.” There was such an emanation he only knows about anatomy of chemistry. He never studied about the environment of hereafter. But he came to laugh by Mawlana . And everything going to be more clear for him.

I am so sad, that my community is not studying about Islamic religious knowledge. But alhamdulillah we have previous sings in our country and we influenced by sincere people, pure people. Alhamdulillah whatever we studied we have that custom and way. We are sincere in it.

I went with Mawlana to Sumatra and Bali and Java but many islands expecting Mawlana ’s coming. I am just conveying their happiness to expect Mawlana will come.

I ma just praying to Allah, who can guide people in front of me, just you. O holy prophet, these people are in need of your baraka. This not my job. I have nothing. These people are yours, "O Mawlana ”

As Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. When I met him in London in 1998. I asked him to make du`a for me. and he said, ,Grandshaykh like you, you don’t ask too much question and you don’t…

Keep this .. and you may go around on behalf of me and Grandshaykh. I didn’t ask that Mawlana .

So I came here only to put myself under Mawlana . I am also not good one. I have my bad ego and have my bad customs.

So I come by support of all my brothers and sisters. And I told that I am coming on behalf all people. And I sent message to my people on laylat al-qadr. And I forward that message to many people. Many people attending sufilive. They receive my message and they are so happy watching TV and imagining I am coming on their behalf.

I believe that muraqabah that is all. We are leaving our bad customs, our laziness, our ego. I am just learning about that.

O human beings o people! You are asking akhira but still you are calling for dunya. We are always in a struggle, between dunya and akhira, what is our preference? Our preference by tongue is akhira but by heart is dunya. It has to be the opposite it has to be our preference by heart and by tongue is for akhira, but unfortunately we are in a struggle between good and evil.

Dunya doesn’t take us except in vanity -love of dunya always takes us to place not accepted by Allah and His Prophet (s).

You might see a wali in your life that is working in dunya. You might think this is strange, "why is this wali so interested in dunya?" Because we are blind.

He is in dunya because he is forced to be in dunya. He doesn’t like to be in dunya. He has to be with people of different levels in order to bring them and to attract them. He has been forced when he left dunya and directed himself to akhira and Allah dressed with sainthood and made him an amir, then Allah sent him back to dunya. As awliya are inheritors of prophet, did he go back to dunya or not? Yes, he did. After his ascension on Laylat al-Isra w’ al-Mi’raj, when he reached the maximum, he is always ascending, but when he reached the highest presence, we cannot say “a place” because there is no place there, but he is ascending in that presence in every moment, where he saw his Lord with the eyes of his head.

But what happened after. Allah sent him back. To be between people. Awliyaullah they inherit from the Prophet (s), then they inherit from prophet’s secrets, after they went all this way. To reach their goal which is to be in presence of Allah swt, and not to have interest in dunya, then there is a test on them. They send them back to be in dunya among people.

Allah said:

وَالسَّمَاء وَالطَّارِقِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ

Wa’s-samai wa ’t-tariq. Wa maa adraaka maa’t-tariq. An-najmu’th-thaqib. In kullu nafsin lamma `alayha hafidh.

By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- (It is) the Star of piercing brightness;- And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- There is no soul but has a protector over it. [Night Visitant, 86:1-4]

w ’as-sama’i wa ’t-tariq. Allah is putting question mar and exclamation mark. By the heavens and the one who knocked at it. In Arabic tariq is the one who is knocking. Ma adraaka maa ’t-tariq - Who is knocking? Who knocked on the doors of heavens? It is Sayyidina Muhammad (s).

Allah is saying, and showing the greatness of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). That he brought him to the nearness of the Divine Presence and said, "By the heavens and the one who knocked at them. And what do you know about that one? No, you know nothing.”

We know nothing. All that we know is a drop in oceans of knowledge. But when the Prophet (s) went and saw that, Allah brought him near and he said,

قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ

"Ya Rabbee, qul innama ana basharun mithlukum – Say! I am but a mortal man like ye all. It has been revealed unto me...” [the Cave, al-Kahf 18:110]

He was so humble when he saw the greatness of his Lord that he saw himself nothing. He, in his own eyes, he is nothing and Allah is everything. He can say that about himself but we cannot say that about him.

[saying: ] “Ya Rabbee! You are everything! I am nothing. You brought me there.”

Wa ma adraaka ma ’t-tariq. An-najmu ’th-thaqib.

“The striking star.” He strikes the heart of human beings. A star when it strikes it creates light. It creates energy, it creates explosion. That striking star that hits the heart of people. He hit the hearts of Sahaba.

Allah gave him the power, Wa ma adraaka ma ’t-tariq. An-najmu ’th-thaqib. He is the striking star.

What do you know about the one is knocking. Tariq, the one who hits; tareeq is the way you have to follow. He didn’t leave you in blindness. [it means:] “What do you know about that one, taraqa is the verb, tareeq is the noun, tariq is the noun (doer)

So Sayyidina Muhammad, Allah said about him:

وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ

wa’alamoo ann feekum rasulullah.

Know that the Prophet of Allah is in you,” [Al-Hujurat 49:7]

He is knocking your heart in pieces directing you to love of Allah, direct you there.

The Prophet (s), Allah swt perfected him. When He perfected him He raised him, when He raised him he brought him near, when He brought him near He made him to see the Divine Presence, with the eyes of his head.

Anyone whose heart is open will be in the Divine Presence. The Prophet (s) is waiting for us to come to his nearness to the nearness of the Prophet (s) in order that he will take you and show you the way. That is why muraqabah is important.

He was speaking about the experience of the grave. Before in old time, when someone is asked to go for seclusion they don’t put them in a room, they put them in a grave. They make their seclusion in a cemetery and they say “go there.” You cannot enter a cemetery in daytime [from fear], what do you think about night time.

In a cemetery which are not like today’s cemeteries. Here you don’t see anything but a lot of grass and one flag flying. A cemetery in Muslim countries… they have a lot of saints in these cemeteries and there are a lot of majestic manifestations on these graves from the awliyaullah that are there.

Or there are cemeteries where there is punishment and you feel the earth quaking.

Imagine you are doing your seclusions in an open grave. Imagine you are going down in the grave to do your awraad, how many worms will come?

In 1996, when Mawlana ordered us to go that year for seclusion, he pointed to a place and we said, "ok.” It was on a mountain in a complete jungle, that you cannot hear except the wind, moving fast. There is no living species there. No people. It is Sayyidina Danyal’s Alayhissalam [Prophet Daniel] mountain, one of the prophets who was living there on that mountain. It is full of jinn. You cannot step in. You will run away. “There - you are going to make seclusion there.”

[We said:] “Ok.” What you can you do? Nothing. You have to go.

Before, but to go there, who is going to bring water, who is going to bring food. It is a deserted area, you have to drive miles and miles, where there is no one, and you might drive 50 miles in any direction. But they prepare you.

Meditation is difficult; it is not easy. Today they sit and make meditation. It is a beginner, that is what we can do but in reality when awliyaullah go for seclusions, which is meditation, they carry lot of hardship and difficulty.

I said, "Yes, as you say, Ya sayyidee.” Before that by one week he said, "I changed the place” that was in Syria. He said, "I changed it to Istanbul, in one of the mosques.” But part of the mosque is all graves of the saints of tariqah. All their graves with turbans. And he asked the person who maintains the place to arrange the seclusion. So before the seclusion by two days I was there and he took me and was showing me where I have to do seclusion. I looked and I saw it might be that mountain was better. He prepared a grave, a real grave, around these awliya.

In daytime you cannot enter their presence; you feel frightened of their presence, their tajallis. I looked at him and said “Ok.” We are changed from the desert and coming to another place. What can we do?

And Mawlana called me there, and he asked, "how you see the place?” I said, “Alhamdulillah it is good.” I said, "Mawlana he built a grave and on top of it is a box, and there is small window and they give you the food through that. And they take the box off in order to go out for wudu.” Then he said, "la hawla wa la quwatta illa billah, let me talk to him.” Then he said to him, “Give him my room.”

So from century to century hardship is more and more. So that is why they make it easy on you.

That is why in the past you can see many awliya. Now no, this is not the time for awliya to be between people. Until ignorance will fill the earth Sayyidina Mahdi will not come.



So when complete ignorance comes - that means when a completely bad situation arises - then Allah will give permission for Sayyidina Mahdi Alayhissalam to come. Authorization and permission to appear and say "Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Allahu Akbar." What is the meaning of Allahu Akbar?

I was one time looking at these on TV they have these church stations. And one priest was saying to people, “Do you know what is meaning of these Muslims when they say Allahu Akbar?”

You know these big churches where they have thousands of people? Say, "Allahu Akbar!” in a loud voice. And he said, “When they say Allahu Akbar, they mean their god is better and bigger than your god.”

And they all said, "awww! See how much they are humiliating our god?”

What does Allahu Akbar mean when Sayyidina Mahdi says Allahu Akbar?

Anyone hearing that voice, all the poison in the heart of the people - it is gone. That means he will take all that is disrespectful out of their hearts. If all human beings will hear that then all their hearts will be clean. He is not coming with the power of swords and guns and planes - [as some people foolishly believe.] No! He is coming with heavenly power. That is with the secret of that word.

means: There is no one you can compare to Allah. He is above description, He is above any understanding and He is above anything that you can think about.

Even in akhira no one will know the greatness of Allah, even the Prophet (s). Even the Prophet (s), he is ascending in the presence of Allah and learning about Allah’s Greatness. But not completely, else he will be shareek to Allah.

So that takbir of Sayyidina Mahdi Alayhissalam will clean you completely and make as if all your life was in complete worship; as if you were reading Qur’an and hadith and doing your awraad, from the day of your birth until the day of your death, as if you are in complete worshipness in the presence of the Prophet (s). That is one meaning of Allahu Akbar.

He is not going to make groups to say “come and listen to my lecture.” He is not a lecturer. Kun fayakoon. Every secret has to appear in the end of the day. That is why anything you think is hidden inside the earth or in the oceans is going to appear on top, so that you can see.

Grandshaykh said, "Technology will become like spit from the mouth of people. Whatever you reach of technology in the last years. In the later part of century, Allah is going to enable people to bring very high technology in a very short time. That is a sign of Mahdi.”

Grandshaykh didn’t see [high] technology [when he made that statement] That was in 1970s. He said that “the scientists will bring up all kinds of thing that never appeared before and all this high technology is going to be like ‘a’ in the alphabet like one letter in the alphabet of Sayyidina Mahdi when he comes with the spiritual secrets that Allah is giving him, that technology will become like zero.” [it will be] like epsilon - the minimum you can count.

So meditation is not simple. As the time is coming nearer for appearance of Sayyidina Mahdi jahiliyya is increasing, and knowledge is decreasing.

عن عبد اللّه بن عمرو بن العاص قال: قال رسول اللّه صلى اللّه عليه وسلم: إن اللّه لا يقبض العلم انتزاعا ينتزعه من الناس ولكن يقبض العلم بقبض العلماء، حتى إذا لم يترك عالما اتخذ الناس رؤوسا جهالا فسئلوا فأفتوا بغير علم فضلوا وأضلوا “

‘Abd All?h bin ‘Amr Ibn al-’?s Radiallahu anhu related that the Prophet (s) said:

All?h will not take knowledge from the hearts of the scholars but he takes the scholars (they die). There will be no more scholars to take their place so people will take extremely ignorant leaders. They will be asked questions and will give fatwas (legal rulings) without knowledge. They are misguided and they misguide others. [Sah?h Bukh?r? 1:33, “Kit?b al-‘ilm.” Sah?h Muslim #157, “Kit?b al-‘ilm”]

This book is from one thousand years ago, al-Fath ar-Rabbani. Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu was one thousand years ago. And in every page of that book is a lecture that he was giving to his students. And they record the day and number of lecture and the day and the year. And every time he mentions we are in time when conspiracy and corruption and is filling the earth. Don’t be surprised if you today see corruption. Now it is increasing. Now it is more. 1000 years ago it was there. Now it is coming to your home. Before it was not coming to your home. Sins and forbiddens. With these cable and satellite channels, all kind of bad, whatever it is. Still in America it is still regulated. But you go outside and the satellite is free, and you get it all free, thousands of channels free. All kinds of bad in them, like the internet. They gave it to the children ready, “eat it.” So what you want now to control, it is impossible.

قال رسول الله ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏إن من ‏أشراط ‏الساعة أن يرفع العلم ويظهر الجهل ويفشو الزنا...

Anas bin Malik Radiallahu anhu said, “… I heard the Messenger of All?h (s) say: “Verily, among the signs of the Last Days are that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will appear, intoxicants (wine) will be drunk, fornication will be widespread,…” [Sah?h Bukh?r?, (1:28) “Kit?b al- ilm.” Muslim #2671, “Kit?b al-‘ilm,” Tirmidh? #2206, “Kit?b al-Fitan”]

The Prophet (s) said, “Ignorance will fill the world.” Now even in desert they are filling up with ads. And they show you a person at the North Pole and with snow, snow, and a Stone Age man coming and saying, “my ATT is working.” With his parabola [dish]. So they want to take you everywhere to fill the earth with corruption. Fasad.

So that is why up til that time they will fill the earth [with corruption]; then Sayyidina Mahdi Alayhissalam comes. For that reason, before, they put you in graves to do seclusion. They know it is difficult today, you cannot do that. So they put you in normal room.

Like Shaykh Mustafa, [with him] 30 to 40 people entered seclusion,s two or three times now, but in rooms, not in graves.

But saints have more power they turn your room into a grave without you being in a grave. It has to be a grave, but they turn it into a grave. As soon as you make that intention and you are getting that power and experiences in a nicely wrapped way and in reality they take the burdens and difficulties on themselves and they wrap it and give to you on a golden plate. This is their power. That is why now to see how much the Prophet (s), as Allah said in that verse w ’as-sama’i wa ’t-tariq, by the heavens and the one who is knocking. What do you now about him. You know very little he is the one who is gong to be the intercessor. If you follow him your heart will be ready to receive secrets and your heart will become in the Divine Presence. And that is why he said, “sudoor as-siddiqeen…when you empty your heart and make it full from presence of Allah, then you become a Siddiq, the one who said, "’Yes’ to the Prophet (s). At that time Allah will fill it with light of secrets of His Beautiful Names and Attributes. He makes your heart full of energy, full of diya. It is like a factory. Like the sun. The sun brings you daylight. It becomes like a sun. The moon does not have rays. But the sun has rays it shines. The moon is to itself, it is the light it acquires from the sun, like a mirror. But the sun is giving rays, and you become lie a sun giving rays to any individual that comes to sit in your situation.

So if the heart becomes like that full of brightness and … your heart will be full of small stars. These stars are secrets.

So when you fly in an airplane they say you cannot go in this area you are not allowed to go in this area, airway. That way you don’t have collisions.

Awliyaullah are able to send these rays to their students and give them airways to life them to Presence of Allah and His Prophet (s).


Wounds of the Soul Reflect to the Body

A short suhbat. Because some people wants to go. He wants go since one and a half hour. So as we said before, we need a guide. We need a doctor to examine us. And he might give you very sour medicine in order to take away the poisons that are in your system.

You also need a guide, that Allah swt gave him heavenly treatment for the soul in order to take the poisons of the soul. Or what is the benefit if we sit in a guidance of someone or a lecture of someone and that someone cannot even treat himself.

Like today, psychiatrists, I saw many of them in the presence of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim or the presence of Grandshaykh or they come and I see them private. Most of them I see them in the presence of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, may Allah give him long life, or in the past in the presence of Grandshaykh, may Allah bless his soul. They come and say, "O my shaykh I have problem” what kind of problem. Our life not going well, we cannot focus, we have difficulties. And he looks at them and says, ho ware you solving the problems of people.

They give patients al kinds o f poison they have and they try to treat them when they ar sick already, when these psych are poisoned already. That is why it is important to have guide with heavenly treatment and heavenly treatment. Will not be give to him until he has purified himself completely. He has to achieve tazkiyyat an-nafs. It is not that it cannot happen. The Prophet (s) said, “man `arafa nafsahu `arafa rabbah - who knows himself knows his Lord. Allah gave a way to know yourself, but we are not doing it, we are not trying. It is a very difficult journey. That is why very few people achieved knowing the self.

I was this morning upstairs and I saw someone his finger is bleeding. He cut his finger and he is seeing blood coming out and they were putting wrap, medication and wrap. Because it is a big wound. And he was shouting from pain. Whenever they press on the blood to stop and I was hearing that and everyone there was hearing that.

Immediately Mawlana came and said, "Look that is one finger and that person is shouting from pain. That is small cut.” Not small, but it might need 3 stitches and they didn’t put anything. He said, "Our soul has hundreds of thousands of wounds that our soul is bleeding and we are not trying to fix it. The pain is there but the body is not feeling it because the body is imprisoning the soul. The soul is in the prison of the body. The soul is screaming and crying and asking relief. It is full of wounds from every part. It has to be cleaned. Its wounds have to be cleaned and to get some antibiotics. But these are heavenly antibiotics and heavenly treatment. You need a very trained and experienced wali in order that he will put you on the right track to know yourself. That is why the Prophet (s) said “who knows himself knows his lord.”

When you fix these wounds and you have destroyed your self, that is what these wounds are. What are the wounds of the soul? They are the 800 forbiddens. Every forbidden you do every day is like a sword or knife that you hit your soul with depends on what part the soul it comes.

Whey that person got ht on that particular finger. Why not another finger, the shahada finger or the thumb? But it hit a particular finger. When it is hit with something the body, it is a cleansing process for the soul. That is reflection from the wound of the soul to the wound of the body. That is why maqam al-fana, the state of real annihilation that when you are in love with someone you annihilated yourself in himself and you don’t see anymore yourself, you see that person this is maqam al-fana. You can have maqam al-fana fee ash-shaykh. You have can fana in people also. To love them in Allah’s’ love. And even this been mentioned in ibn Taymiyya where he mentioned in his Encyclopedia al-Majm`a Fatawa al-Kubra which is 36 volumes.. One of these volumes is speaking about maqam al-fana.

And he said, "there were 2 persons by the river making wudu and one fell down and he doesn’t know how to swim and when the first one fell down, the 2nd one fell in after him throwing himself in. And both don’t know how to swim.”

That is maqam al-fana in each other. Grandshaykh said, "There are higher levels of fana in one person to the other. If someone will have a wound in his hand, the other will have the wound in his hand and I saw that and observed that one time.

It was in 1973 in rajab, where Grandshaykh was going, came to Beirut and stayed in our house and especially in my room and he was been going to surgery for hernia. So he finished the surgery and he moved to the house and at that time we sent message to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim to Cyprus and he came. So he came and he visited Grandshaykh to the hospital before coming to the house and to my room and there he was passing him a secret and that is in the book Naqshbandi Sufi way, I won’t tell it now, but you can go back and read it. And he ordered everyone to go out of the room. So at that moment when they opened the room, Mawlana Shaykh Nazim said, "O I have a pain.” It was in the same place that Grandshaykh had the pain. That is fana fee ash-shaykh annihilation in the shaykh. It immediately reflected itself. And he went for the same operation, surgery.

So when they bought them both back to the house, Grandshaykh was on this side and Mawlana Shaykh was on this side, facing each other. So I saw that and experienced that how immediately it reflected itself.

Sometimes the soul reflects the wound in the body when it has reached the maximum limit of pain, so it bursts through the body in any way it can so it has room to tanafas, to breathe out. Like you have something like a balloon, it cannot take more air, then it has to burst from one side. It has to have an opening. Like a pimple, it grows and grows and you you have to put a cut in it to let the pus come out.

So when the soul has been wounded too much by all these cuts, then it has to come out. When you treat your wounds you know your Lord .when you treat your wounds you are …. The wali has to be purified in order to treat you. If he is sick what you want him to treat you?

Like you go to doctor and he says you have cholesterol and he says, “eat fish, and don’t eat red meat.” But he has cholesterol and he is eating meat. Or a doctor who is diabetic and he is eating starch. This will also affect as it will reflect his sickness on your sickness. He adds on your problem even more.

So the shaykh must be clean himself through his shaykh then he can sit and try to fix the others.

If you sit and try to fix the others and you are sick, you will reflect all your negative energy on them. Especially for spiritual wounds.

It will be affected more when you go to a sick one and you think he is a shaykh or representative of the shaykh. All his negative energy will be reflected on you. That Is why you see someone got to someone and he is flipped. Because that one who is claiming is already crazy. He doesn’t focus well and he wants to fix you. He has to fix himself first. There are many like that. We are all like that.

So you have to keep as much as you can, taking the medication that he give sot you which is going to be very very untasty. Tasteful? Not-tasty and it is sour. Because this is how they treat. They have to give you poison against poison. They don’t give you candies against poison. They have to give you higher dose of poison. Like we mentioned in treating cancer they have to treat with chemo which is higher does than the cancer. But after they treat he will be ok.

When you have been treated then you realize you have to close the doors and windows that open to the people and your door or window must only open to the Divine Presence and the Prophet’s (s) presence it means you will no longer be interested in dunya after they give you so much dose of treatment. So like patients of cancer they reach level four they realize that their life is over so then they begin to focus on religion more and dunya drops from their eyes.. They realize they are finished.

So awliyaullah put you in a feeling that your soul is already dead and they put you in severe treatment that you close all the door to the dunya and open the doors to the Divine Presence.

So how to reach the doors of the Divine Presence. You begin to count all the sins and you have to acknowledge all the sins and say ya Rabbee forgive them. His door is open. He didn’t close the door, we closed the door. He is ready to forgive any time.

Say to them “O my servants, don’t lose hope of Allah’s forgiveness. Whom has oppressed himself of too many sins, ask forgiveness and when you ask and ackn0weldge your sins and ask forgiveness.”

Then Allah will take the blindness from your heart and bring you in the Divine Presence. It is not the matter of what you dress but it is the matter of how you are able to dress.

You can have many dresses in your closet, the very best ones, but how to dress. I have a nice dress but I don’t know how to dress them. I am looking at them there but I don’t know how to dress them. How to get them and wear them.

How are you going to dress these beautiful manifestation that Allah sending to his Prophet (s) and thru his Prophet (s) to the masters, the Grandshaykhs to Sayyidina Shaykh Nazim to Sayyidina al–Mahdi. How you can get these dresses, it is not in just how to explain about them but in how to use them. There are ways and methods of how to use them but then it is very heavy.

I didn’t see Grandshaykh ever ordered people to do this or do that. He leaves them on their easy way. And Mawlana Shaykh Nazim the same. But I am seeing some people today, they claim they are reps but they are very tough on those coming to them. That is why after a while they leave them.

May Allah forgives us and give us these dresses that are ready, especially in this month of Ramadan 1429 in order that we be forgiven and it will be the signal and the sign of forgiveness. May Allah bring us in his Divine Presence and in the presence of the Prophet (s) and in the presence of our shuyukh, wa min Allah at-tawfeeq, bi hurmatil Fatiha.



It is very difficult. You need to have strong devotion. You have to have powerful belief in order to move thru this journey. But Allah swt is merciful. Allah he knows that if you decide to go thru that journey but you cannot because it is difficult but you are patient because you are there, Allah will take you from where you are to the shore of safety.

Grandshaykh used to call it the reeh as-siba, that Allah takes you thru His inayah, as they know you cannot cross the whole ocean to reach the other side. You are on the beach trying to put your feet in the water. You are patient in trying to do it and you keep doing it, you don’t say I cannot do it. Allah will send his divine protection and his inayah and take you to the other side. This is what he calls inayatullah or reeh as-siba it will reach you. We are asking Allah swt to send his inayah on us that we will be able to reach the shore of safety. Else what we can do? Wa min Allah at-tawfeeq bi-hurmatil-Fatiha.


Ya Muhammad SAW.! I created for you an ummah that never gets tired from doing sins and I'm their Lord who never gets tired of forgiving them

In Pakistan they have special schools, only after you memorize Qur'an and hadith and memorize Shariah. And that is one year just how to speak. That is why they can speak like machine guns. India same way. They make them to learn how to speak.

Also in Arabic language, to become khateeb to deliver Jumu`ah they have to give you a lesson in how to give khitaab, how to speak. That is why they are so fluent.

tariqat as-suhba wa’l khayru feel-jami`a.

Allah, Allah, kareem Allah.

anta rabbuna wa nahnu `ibadak, wa an abduk ad-da`eef. Forgive me, my sins have caught up with me. Allah is lord. No on can say they know anything about Allah swt in his absolute greatness and all of us are coming as weak servant. I am coming as a weak servant. It might be that everyone in this circle is form high awliyaullah.

Mawlana said to me once, you may consider everything to be a robot. You are in the presence of your Lord and he is showing you what he wants to show you. And that the others are all appearances. And especially when I was getting very angry, that was every few seconds. Nothing except Allah. Kullu man alayha fan, la yabqa illa wajha. There is nothing except the face of Allah. Everything is going to disappear except his intention.

Allahuma salli wa sallim` ala Sayyidina Muhammad. Everything should vanish except that its intentions should show up.

I saw in a book by Sayyidina Muhyideen ibn Arabi, who is buried by our Grandshaykh in Damascus. And he wrote a poem “when the dust clears we will see who is sitting on horse and who is sitting on a donkey.”

And yesterday we were discussing that ayah that Allah will never change the situation of a people until we change what is in our own hearts.

Allah is not going to .. until we make our rebellion firm like Fira`un. Or he is not going to change us to better until we show an action towards it.

And Mawlana explaining a new view, wa fawqa kulli dhi `ilmin `aleem

That Allah is not going to change anything in our situation until we change our intention. According to our good intentions we will find a way out. Everyone is into something, into some test, especially in this tariqah. It is good because it is the way for us to improve. Else we are never struggling therefore never improving.

So we have nothing, we must ask Allah to inspire us with good intentions that through those good intentions you should be happy with us. That we need to find a way. Ilahee ant maqsoodee wa ridaaka matloobee. It is only by tongue but we are asking Allah to make it a reality and to make more good intentions to come up and through those good intentions he will create in us more good actions that he likes.

Mawlana was speaking today about the village where they were doing matches, matchmaking marriages according to the proper matches. Our problem is that our acquiring of targets is wrong. We don’t have the equipment to know what is correct target and what is not. We don’t know that when we are gong to do something if it is the perfect situation. We were once doing some repairs at dergah. We asked him, is this is a good idea. It is a very good idea, but we have to check if it is a perfect idea. The lowest level is waste of time and at worst it could be something harmful.

Sayyidina Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu used to say, "O Allah show me truth as true and falsehood as false so I can avoid it.” And he said, asked the one nearest you. Show us. Show us truth as being true we can move on it and grant us good inspirations to move on it with whatever himmah we have. And show us falsehood as falsehood. Make us to see falsehood as falsehood, make power to avoid it, shaytan will not make falsehood look bad but make it to look nice.

We must not just have nice party but to have some learning. Every second believer is confronted with something to do and not to do. To avoid wrong and to go for goodness. To ask to run on what is good. I am asking on behalf of everyone.

May Allah grant us blessings and for sake of Rasulullah and sake of Mawlana Shaykh

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

Nawaytu'l-arba`een, nawaytu'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu'l-khalwah, nawaytu'l-riyaada, nawaytu's-salook, nawaytu'l-`uzlah, nawytu as-siyam lillahi ta`ala fee hadha'l-masjid

Anyone who wants to sit for remembrance of Allah even for short time, it is advisable to make the intention that I am making intention for making 40 days seclusion, and I am making intention of itikaaf for 10 days of Ramadan, and you will be written that as you made the intention. And I intend spiritual exercise and I intend salook. To be on that way and to follow my shaykh and nawaytu as-siyaam, I intend to fast from talking nonsense in this masjid.

Allah will give the benefits of what we are asking. Sometimes people have in their lives different states. They pass through different trances. I am like everyone, I am passing that trance. That I feel ashamed to speak. I used to speak a lot. Directly. From whatever I get thru my heart. But I begin to realize that this has some kind of, not some kind of, but it has a problem. Which is a problem of ego. Because you show that you know something and you are getting directly. But that is ok. That is a trance you pass in it. But now I feel shy not to open a notebook, not to open Mawlana Shaykh’s or Grandshaykh’s notes, to show we are in need of their words. Because every word they say is an ocean. It opens for you big distances.

Always Grandshaykh used to say, and I used to write every word he says, since the day I knew him until he passed away. I used to write hundreds of these notebooks. And one time he said to me, and I will share this with you for the first time.

One time he said to me, “Hisham.” “Na`m sayyidee.” He said, " have something to say for you, good tidings! As Allah swt made Ka`b al-Ahbar for the Prophet (s).”

You know Ka`b al-Ahbar, he is the head of priests or rabbis that accepted the Prophet (s), he is writing everything that the Prophet (s) used to say, although what I wrote is very minimal. But he wants to show his love and that it is good to take notes.

And if you go to Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, you see thousands of notebooks in his home in Damascus. All these years that he was with Mawlana Grandshaykh Abdullah, and he was writing.

And he said to me and to Shaykh Adnan, “Whenever you speak read from my notes and speak.” So I feel in that state now that it is not nice to directly, although Mawlana gave us that authority, but it is better to go through what he says, as his words are like jewels. Our words are like pebbles. We need pebbles to build a building, we cannot build it from jewels. We are all like that that; we try to give what come to our heart. I believe that all Mawlana’s representatives have been given that authority and they have been given spiritual support that when they speak Mawlana will open to them.

So I like to speak or explain from what Mawlana Shaykh or Grandshaykh has said.

As we said previously that the Prophet (s), whatever Allah revealed to him, and what he gave to the Ummah, all what he gave to Ummah and to awliyaullah are only from the level of Sayyidina Jibreel and down. All these knowledges are from where Jibreel Alayhissalam stands and down. Not above. Above what Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam has, only Allah gave to Sayyidina Muhammad (s). So there are 3 levels here. There is level below Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam; the level of Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam and the level above Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam.

On the night of Mi’raj, Jibreel Alayhissalam moved the Prophet (s) to a certain level and then he stopped. Then Jibreel Alayhissalam said, "I cannot proceed any further, I will be burned.” Then the Prophet (s) continued on his way alone.

All knowledge we have today, scientific, and spiritual and books that have been written and most books that were written were written after the Prophet (s) and mostly only of philosophers, Socrates and Plato. Only after prophet came these books were written and these formed huge libraries. All of that knowledge is from Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam and down. All that awliyaullah are telling is form that level and down.

The rest of the knowledge is for Sayyidina Muhammad (s). Allah has no partner as creator and similarly the Prophet (s) has no partner [in knowledge and in station], he has no partner as all other servants are under him.



وَقُلْ جَاء الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا

Wa qul jaa al-haqqu wa zahaqa al-batilu inna al-batila kana zahooqa.

And say: "Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish." Al-Isra [17:81]

This means that falsehood is completely crushed. Even that secret, the secret of that verse not one wali has opened it. No one got the secret of that word. Only for the Companion of Mahdi Alayhissalam did Allah open to his heart.

Not Mahdi Alayhissalam, but Sahib al-Mahdi - the one that comes near time of Mahdi Alayhissalam, who comes before when Mahdi [will appear], it will open secrets from above the maqam of Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam that the Prophet (s) opens to Sayyidina Mahdi Alayhissalam.

So for now Allah opened for Sahib al-Mahdi, Allah opened for him the secret of that holy verse. It means: “I am the one that is going to destroy falsehood and kufr. That I have that secret that Allah opened power for me to destroy any falsehood that is in the Ummah.” Not one wali had that power or Allah gave him.

And Mawlana Shaykh inherited that secret from Grandshaykh. Sometimes you hear him say, “I am going to crush falsehood” and he says, “falsehood is under our feet; we want to take it away.”

So all these knowledges that he is going to open in this suhbat that he gave which we are going through it now, we can make for future sessions also, to continue on that. I will speak about what Allah gave to us, but before that, the knowledge that is above maqam of Sayyidina Jibreel Alayhissalam where the Prophet (s) has no shareek in knowledge he is going to pass it to Sayyidina Mahdi Alayhissalam before he is going to appear. He is going to appear with takbir: Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar , Allahu Akbar ! With that takbir he will fill the hearts of the believers with secrets, they don’t necessary have to see him to be attracted to him. You know how you put a magnet and it will attract nails even if it is far. So his appearance is like a magnet to the whole world and he will attract people from the whole world and people will feel driven to his appearance. He will appear in Medina and in Damascus, anyone who is in western Hemisphere or eastern Hemisphere will be driven to his presence.

He said, "he will be inheriting the secrets of knowledge and he will come with knowledge higher than awliyaullah and coming with knowledge higher than the knowledge of previous prophets by 700 times, bringing these secrets up.”

The Prophet (s) didn’t give everything out, he hid many things [the Ummah cannot understand yet]. He will bring that up. Because at that time nothing will remain hidden, it is the Last Days and nothing can remain hidden. It will be the Golden Age. That is why we ask Allah to give us life to see Mahdi Alayhissalam. At that time every person will have a spiritual sword and hold it against his self - in a few seconds he will defeat it. After that, each person will be able to read the Preserved Tablets in the morning to know what he has to do today.

And that is very near. Don’t think it is too late. It is so near.

And he said that "it is very important for those following the path to reflect. Reflect on what? Reflect on what Allah swt will give us of wisdom if we leave our ego down if we put our ego down."

[It means we must ask] “Ya Rabbee, give us power. We are reflecting that You are the one who can save us from our ego”. That will give us the knowledge of wisdom that you will be coming with that, that every movement you move will be wisdom. When you talk wisdom comes. When you sleep, your sleep is `ibadah. Your day will be `ibadah and your night will be ibadah. Ahl at-tariqah, the people of that Sufi path, must think two times. Sabahan wa masa’an morning and evening and when we reflect we must not look at what other people are doing, we must not look at their uyyoob, their shortcoming. We must veil our eyes from that, that is not our business. Don’t take that from here and spread it there. You are seeking that path and you are looking to find the path that takes you to shore of safety. Don’t look right or left, else you will deviate from the path, the track.

Awliyaullah give you a track like a train so if the tires go right or left what happens you will be derailed. Else you will be like those people who said we pass deregulation. They deregulated everything and now it is all a big mess. Now to go back to the path they have to happy the price. Now we have derailed we have to pay the price. They told us not to go right or left. That price will be high not simple as we promised to go along. When we took hand of shaykh we promised. We cannot make a defacto on our promise (default) - you promised, now you have to fulfil it. المومن اذا وعد وفا Al-mu’min idha wa`ada wafa. We promised Allah on the Day of Promises to obey Him and we are now derailing. The prophet was pulling the Sahaba on track. The Sahaba, after the Prophet (s) were pulling people on track. After Sahaba, awliyaullah are pulling people on track.

If you don’t derail and accept not to look at other people mistakes, and Mawlana Shaykh said, " we in tariqah, we don’t accept paradise.” You want paradise. But the people of the path don’t want Paradise, they want Ridwan Allah al-akbar. They want Allah’s greatest pleasure that Allah be happy with you. Ridwan Allah al-akbar will take you to be with prophet in the highest level in paradise. You don’t want to be in lowest level of paradise you want to be in the highest level with the one you love. Then if you fulfill what they are asking, you will be in the station of :

وَمَن يُطِعِ اللّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللّهُ عَلَيْهِم مِّنَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاء وَالصَّالِحِينَ وَحَسُنَ أُولَـئِكَ رَفِيقًا

Wa man yuti`i Allaha wa’r-rasoola faula’ika ma` alladheena an`ama Allahu `alayhim mina an-nabiyyeena wa’s-siddeeqeena wa’sh-shuhada’i wa’s-saliheena wa hasuna ula’ika rafeeqa.

All who obey Allah and the apostle are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship! An-Nisa, 4:69.

He said: “O my children these words I am telling you are like a naqsh. They will not change. La yatazalzalu wa la yataghayr. What I am saying is not going to change and what I am saying is from the Prophet (s). I speak with evidence and if there is no evidence I don’t speak.”

He said, “because I am speaking from the heart of the Prophet (s). That he is not accepting except what he is saying. There are awliyaullah, min bayyin al-awliya la yu`aadoohum - from Allah through the Prophet (s) they are able to say, "O you went through that journey and deserve to be a saint,” but they refused. They say “what is the benefit?” They say, “We want to be from maqam al-awwam – the common people. We don’t want that responsibility. - La yureedoon al-mas’ooliyya.” They don’t want responsibility. “Why do I want responsibility?” Because when given authority, and made saints by Allah and the Prophet (s),

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Ala inna awliyaa Allahi la khawfun `alayhim wa la hum yahzanoon

Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve; al-Anbiya 10:62

Awliyaullah don’t have anything to fear, not that what we explained every time: that they are ok and they are not sad. No, [here] it means that “you are not responsible if you carry sainthood. I am leaving it to how you see it as you are giving it to your students.”

They don’t want responsibility, awliya, because it is big responsibility. When they have been given the level of sainthood they are under responsibility. So Allah promised them and the Prophet (s) promised them “don’t worry. - There is nothing to fear and no sadness for them”; that means Allah will clean all their students. They present them to the Prophet (s) and the Prophet (s) presents them to Allah. That is how they accept sainthood; else it is a big responsibility and he said, speaking about himself, “When that has been given to me” (and I explained many times, how he refused until he got the answer from the Prophet (s) accepting his condition that anyone taking baya` from him would be raised to whatever level he is, without looking at their worship or actions) but from that secret Allah opened to my heart a wisdom that in the night of ascension, Laylat al-Isra wa’l-Mi’raj, Allah said to the Prophet (s), “I gave you a nation that will never get tired of making sins, doing forbiddens. All their lives they are committing sins. But, Ya Muhammad, I gave you an Ummah that before I created them I forgave them.”

“Before I created them I forgive them.” This is for everyone, not only for tariqah people. “When I received that from the heart of the Prophet (s), I relaxed. Sakana qalbee. My heart went into peace and satisfaction, it became still.”

[Other hadith with similar meaning:

The Prophet Muhammad (s) quoted Allah swt as saying:O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you..."

Hadith Qudsi, Number 17

The Prophet (s) also quoted Allah swt as saying: "O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you..."

Hadith Qudsi, Number 34]

All awliyaullah’s work is to save their followers. And the Prophet’s works is to save the Ummah. But Allah is saying to the Prophet (s), “Before I created them I forgive them” and he said that the daleel for that is that Adam Alayhissalam, when he committed the sin, he went into sajda for forty years.

Allahu Akbar. Can you do that? For forty years he went into sajda. And tears were coming from his eyes, when he went into sajda it is like flowing rivers coming out of his eyes. He never raised his head and if Allah did not call him “Ya Adam” he would have left his head in sajda until Judgment Day. If Allah gave him life until Day of Judgment there would have been tears coming from his eyes and in sajda. Why he made sajda? On behalf of everyone. Instead of staying in Judgment Day in sajda he made it in dunya. He asked forgiveness for everyone according to the name that Allah gave that person on the Preserved Tablets.

Your name is strange Soihibou. It means sahib but in a humble way you say it.

[So Allah told him:] “O Adam stop crying!” All these tears, every drop of these tears represents one person. Until he covered every person then Allah said, "raise your head. I forgive them. I forgive them because you asked me for sake of Muhammad. I am forgiving you and forgiving them.”

Allah Allah Allah allah subhanaallah,

Allah Allah Allah allah Kareemallah,

Allah Allah Allah allah sultanallah,

Liman al-mulk al-yawm lillahil-wahid al-qahaar.

Al-yawm tujza kullu nafsan ma kasabat..sari al-hisab.


That is why we say, "There is no malik, there is no king and no president." "There is this or that."

There is no one. When Allah swt orders Sayyidina Israfil to blow in the trumpet, then everyone dies and Allah by Himself to Himself from His Unknown undescribable level, Allah knows where, Allah says, "Liman al-mulk al-yawm - to whom is the kingdom this day?" Which kingdom?

Allah said, "liman al-mulk al-yawm.” Are you hearing? "To whom is the kingdom today?" He answered by Himself, to Himself, "To Allah the One," To the Unique One that has no partner, the Majestic One, the One that under His command is everything.

There is no at that time a king. But which kingdom? To him is the kingdom today. Which kingdom? Earth? If it is earth Allah is poor. Istaghfirullah.

The whole creation [is His kingdom]. Because everyone will disappear, finish, from Sayyidina Jibreel to all of them, when Israfil will blow in the trumpet, everyone will die. Except Israfil, when Allah orders him to die, he dies also. That is not just earthly kingdom. That is the universe that has no beginning and no end. To Allah this universe has a beginning and an end, but to us it is huge, wherever you go you are moving in it.

Did you check it? The map of the universe. Go check. Check how much, we think that when we look, "yartadu ilayka al-basaru khasiyan wa huwa haseer - We look up and your vision will come back to you disappointed," when you look up at these stars. People say they know everything, what do they know, they know noting. Kulli shayin indahu bil miqdaar -Everything to Him has an estimate."



Bil miqdaar. It is a little bit. It means He gave to people a little bit, a little bit, a little bit. He didn’t give them everything. He only gave one everything: Sayyidina Muhammad.

Allah says "To whom is the kingdom today?" I created them for you but you didn’t deserve it, that is why I am going to dissolve it completely. Yawma tubadala al-ardu ghayra al-ard, was-samawat. The day that comes that the earth will be change to a different earth, to a different place and the heavens will be changed, will be transformed. Allah changes them. At that time, it means everything is new. And you will be new, is it not? Everyone will be new.

When Allah swt sends that rain that enters in every bone, the coccyx of the human being, as soon as it enter that person appears. You know that hadith of the Prophet (s) that Allah will shower on earth sperm that will go up 70 yards above earth. Above earth where? This earth is round, so it means above earth from every side. And every drop of rain knows its owner and it has to go and search for that coccyx that bone that never dies and enter in it.

The Prophet (s) said, that “ Adam will disintegrate completely except for one small bone the coccyx that will be living.” How does that small bone know? Take now and write everyone’s name on a small piece of paper an put them in a glass. Can you pick up your name. You have 1000 names there. Might be probability to pick your name there of 1/10000, but it is nearly impossible. How that sperm knows its owner, it has to go to its coccyx its bone to bring us up back. When that clean rain comes and it has clean drops that enter in the coccyx and enter and create a new body, is that body clean or not? Then what is Allah swt going to judge us with. That is why He said to Muhammad, "Ya Muhammad I will create an Ummah for you that never gets tired of making sins and I am a Lord that never gets tired of forgiving them. For your sake."

Look at us today. Are we committing sins or not, every moment? When we say "Allahu Akbar," [to begin prayers] how many gossips come to our heart. Too many. Count them. You cannot.

You cannot count them, even in the prayer. And we come and we are jabbabira, tyrants to ourselves. Tyrants to others and tyrants to ourselves. This one cheat this one, this one conspires against that one, this one backbite hat one, and this one … full. And we come and at the end and say what is the benefit? But we have to do it. Like it or don’t like it you have to pray five prayers, "In spite of your nose - raghman `an anfik", or you have to pray them in hellfire. The foot on top of your head and you have to pray them. You are obliged to pray them. People come and complain, " my son is not praying." After you spoiled him how do you complain? How is he going to pray? People say, "my daughter is not praying." Then we think we are big awliya. Everyone with long beard and . ..



The problem is not here. The problem is that is all easy. But the problem is when we are going to be in front of Allah and He is asking us. "Faman yamal mithqaala dharratin sharran yarah - whoerever has done an atom's weight of evil will see it."

Whoever will do an atom of good, he will see good and whomever does an atom of bad He will bring it back for you.

Allah can bring the seed of mustard, mithqaala khardala from the depths of seven earths. If it is under 7 earths Allah will bring it up.

How much Allah will bring our sins up. Are we thinking chief? No. all of us. Allah said, "fa dhakkir fa inna adh-dhikra tanfa al-mumineen - The believers get benefit by being reminded. We are not coming and saying to threat people but we are all in the same problem. But we are under a huge problem. Are we going to be in paradise or are we going to be in hellfire?

Anyone of us. Take an example of himself or herself. Ask yourself, "Am I going to go to paradise with my `amal?" No, no way. That his why when the Prophet (s) had a concern, a big concern: “Ya rabbee, what about my Ummah, what about my Ummah!” And this is where Allah is speaking to the Prophet (s) and this is where awliyaullah get the secrets and give them to their followers. May Allah bless Grandshaykh and may Allah bless Mawlana Shaykh!

And I heard it from Grandshaykh, 40 years ago, the Prophet (s) is saying, “Ya Rabbee, my nation?” Who is Ummat an-Nabi (s)? Ummat an-Nabi (s) is everything that Allah swt created for Sayyidina Muhammad. Everyone that Allah created. Who is everyone? Jinn, ins, angels.

Ha, if we want to go deep in the meaning. If we want to be superficial we say human beings and jinn. But if we want to go deeper we say all that has been created. Even in heavens. They are Ummat an-Nabi (s). But they are different levels. The Prophet (s) was concerned about those who make sins. Who makes sins? Human beings. The Prophet (s) will ask, “what about them?” “Ah, don’t worry about them. When I sent them to earth in grave, what happened to them?” They are gone, they disappeared in the grave. You open the earth of the grave later and they are gone. Allah is cleaning them. That is why anything is considered dirty you have to wash your hand with dirt, turab. That is why when you touch the saliva of the dog you have to wash six times and seventh with dirt.

So that means earth cleans everything. Then it is cleaning process in the grave, either it is rawdatan min riyad al-janmah, paradise in the grave or hufran min hufr alniran, a ditch of fire. There everyone will be cleaned. Who will be clean? Awliyaullah. Not us. That is why when you open the gave of someone they find the body as it was. Did you see that? No. I saw one and I heard about many.



Imam al-Jazuli who wrote Dala’il al-Khayrat, died in Fez in Morocco. After 100 years they want to move him to Marrakech. They opened the grave and found him as if he had been buried today. They moved him and he was fresh, his cheeks like he was buried today.

That one is guaranteed. Can we guarantee ourselves?

In Singapore, they wanted to open a highway and there is in the way a big grave of a wali – Habib Noh. Whatever they want to take way that grave they cannot. So what did they do? They moved the highway. They make the highway go around the grave and it used to be ocean. They cannot go straight. It is very well-known road in Singapore.

The one I saw, I will not discuss now, it is in Damascus.

So we cannot guarantee ourselves. It is a cleaning there. There you will wish, “Ya Rabbee, I wish You can send me back. Irjinee `amal saalihan.” “ No,” Allah says, “finished.”

So when He brings us back on the Resurrection Day He bring you back with a new body, a body that is clean because it has been created another time.

That is why Grandshaykh said, "These secrets are opened from the Prophet (s) that when Allah creates us back on Resurrection Day then they have to be clean. They cannot be in front of Allah and in front of His Prophet (s) dirty. How they can be and Allah calling all His servants? Can you be dirty?

Why when you go to pray do you make ablution? To be clean. And awliyaullah say you have to make ghusl even. They go higher, in order to be more clean. How are you going to be in Resurrection Day, not clean? That is a little bit if we use our mind, and the heart can go even higher.

I go to see a president, or a minister or you go to be hired in a company what do you do? You dress nicely and Pakistanis, they die their beard if they have a beard to look younger.

Ganghis is that correct? [yes] and not only Pakistanis, everyone. Arabs, they shave completely they have no beard. Go see them in Arab countries. Very few have beard but not everyone. Ladies fill their hands from top to bottom with jewelry and they are khaskhash, ringing in order to get a job.

They go clean. What do you think about us, in presence Of Allah and in presence of the Prophet (s)? Do you think you are not going to be clean there. And Grandshaykh said how are you not going to be clean, If you ask about the judgment, when Allah said, "faman yamal mithqala dharra… that judgment has already been done. That is not going to be done on Judgment Day. Already when Allah created you he judged you. For him there is no past, present, future for Him everything is present. When He created you He knew what you are going to do. That is why He said to the Prophet (s) in day of ascension, because Allah has already judged His servants, [He says to the Prophet (s):] “I gave them you. You do what you want I gave you shafa`a.”

That is why Allah said this is a blessed Ummah, ummatan marhooma. Allah has dressed this Ummah. Allah does not accept that the Prophet (s) will be with wild animal. Allah will take our wild chars and build us up in the grave. We are going back to Allah that soul is clean. That soul is struggling inside us. That is why when you do something wrong you get a sense of guilt; “O that is wrong. Repent, repent, repent.”

Who is telling us to repent? It is a struggle between the soul and the body. There is a big struggle there. The soul is clean you don’t need to clean it anymore. We are to Allah and to Allah we go back. Can a soul back dirty. When Azraeel is taking a soul, everything on it is cleaned. When it goes up in hands of Azraeel it is clean. That is why Allah swt wants to show His servants that “you are My subjects. You are My servants and you are My slaves. I own you. Don’t say you can own people, except Me.”

These tyrants on earth, whatever you want to call them of different political levels, everyone of them is a tyrant on these levels and on others. That is why he says, liman al-mulk al-yawm. Which king can stand up?. Which president can stand up?

What do they do in these debates? “My plan is this and my plan is that.” What is that ‘I’? It is the self. Everyone wants to say “I am better.” We are like that. We have to take example from what we see. We say, “I”, “I”, “I”, children say to their parents “I”, “I”, “I”, “me”, “me”, “me”, “what do you know you are awkward, look at your beard it is white already. You want to give me advice?”

“They have the guts,” we say in English to say to their parents like that. And their parents feel bad, they raised their children and paid money and they come and speak to them like that. If the father gets sad from the son telling him what to do, what do you think about the Prophet (s), from his Ummah? What do you think about Allah from His servants.

That is why Allah doesn’t look. Inna ad-dunya la tazin `inda-Allah janaaha ba`ooda – In Allah’s view, this world doesn’t way the weight of a mosquito’s wing. [He say,] "I give them to you I don’t want to deal with them. They are…” I don’t want to say worse.

“I raised them up on land and sea, wa hamalna hum fil barri wal-bahr. Take them and do what you want. I gave You have shafa`a.

That is why the Prophet (s) said, "I will go and make sajda and make du`a that Allah never opened to me even in barzakh. I will make du`a and du`a and du`a.”

What kind of du`a? Some people read the al-ad`iya al-mathura those du`a that the Prophet (s) taught the Sahaba. You can read it. But the Prophet (s) said, "Allah will open to my heart du`a that never been opened before.” How are the letters of these du`as. It might be like alim lam mim, kah ha ya ayn sad. It might be like these letters that we cannot understand their secrets that Allah will open to the Prophet (s). It might be infinite numbers of these words that have meanings but we cannot understand the meaning. But the Prophet (s) will understand and Allah will open the secret. And then Allah will say, “Enough!” to the Prophet (s), “raise you head and ask!” He asks, “give me my Ummah!” And Allah gives him one third.

And the Prophet (s) doesn’t stop. He goes into sajda for the second time. How long will be the sajda of the Prophet (s), we don’t know. Sayyidina Adam Alayhissalam went into sajda for 40 years. Then Allah swt will open to his heart du`as that never been opened before. And then … at the end Allah will say, "take all of them except one.” Who is that one? That is the worst one. Then Allah says, “I am better than My Prophet (s). Even that one, I give him to Paradise.”

That is why the Prophet (s) said, "Allah gave me ummatan marhooma – a blessed Ummah. May Allah bless us and keep us always in presence of the Prophet (s) and in presence of awliyaullah. We don’t know the value of awliyaullah until we die. Then we know how much they have brought us near to the Prophet (s). Now we don’t know. Now our eyes are blocked we cannot see.

We hear about awliyaullah that they say this and they say that. We read books and they say this and say that. Why do we read books? There is no fresh knowledge in them. Where is the fresh knowledge. Why, [do you think] awliyaullah are finished? That they no more exist? Allah said: Ala inna awliyaullha la khawfan `alayhim wa laa hum yahzanoon.

And the hadith: awliyaee tahta qibaabee la ya`lamahum ghayree.

The Prophet (s) mentioned in many hadith about abdal, what about the substitutes. Where are they? They don’t have new knowledge. Is not the Prophet (s) ascending in his knowledge every moment. Because Allah is the Creator, in every moment He is creating,. You cannot say that He stopped creating or He is not a creator. And He is creating new knowledge all the time and time and revealing them and much of that will not come until Mahdi’s time. Awliyaullah are there and they get fresh knowledge from heart of the Prophet (s).

But we have to find them. But if we say, "we are busy; we have work”, them you are chaining yourself, not to sit with them. Their presence gives you the ability to ascend within your heart in higher levels of knowledge. Look what Grandshaykh brought of knowledge - we throw some words of it, it makes us strong. We never heard anything like that except from Grandshaykh and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. How many books we read and we never found what Grandshaykh said and Mawlana Shaykh said in a book. Now these knowledges are there but they are hidden. Ignorance must grow. Jahiliyya – ignorance - must grow and it is growing. It is growing and growing and growing. Sayyidina Mahdi will not come until complete jahiliyya covers this earth.

Two Doors

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

Nawaytu'l-arba`een, nawaytu'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu'l-khalwah, nawaytu'l-riyaada, nawaytu's-salook, nawaytu'l-`uzlah lillahi ta`ala fee hadha'l-masjid



Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasula wa uli 'l-amri minkum



Usually when we go to anywhere to apply for anything you will go to apply for a passport they ask you “what’s your name?” You apply for a marriage, they ask you “what’s your name?” If you go to school they ask you “what is your name?” You have to put your name on every test and if you don’t know your name you cannot get your ticket or your passport.

Also awliyaullah are asking us “what is our name”, in order that we can know what kind of a… in which door we are going to enter. Are we going to enter this door or that door? You cannot enter a door other than the door your name is written on. And always you like to enter a door, a place where there is some kind of important [event] or a palace. You don’t want to enter a shack. A burning shack? Huh?

So what is the best door you can enter? For sure it is not the door of dunya, it is the door of akhira. The door of dunya, if you are looking for a door that takes you to the door of akhira that is good. If you are looking for a door that is taking you to punishment in akhira that is bad.

So there are two doors, either your name is sa`eed or your name is shaqee. Either your name is “happy” or your name is “troublemaker” shaqee means a bad one whose life is always bad. So it is either one of these two names, either you are sa`eed having good ending, and good happy life or you are going to have a troubled life. That is why sa`eed or shaqee. And this is for sure you are, either you are this or you are that. Either you are sa`eed or you are shaqee. And no one knows what will happen, which door you are going to be and which name you have. Only Allah knows this and that is in his unseen knowledge. That is why in Laylat nisf sha`ban, the Night of Mid-Sha`ban [when]:

يَمْحُو اللّهُ مَا يَشَاء وَيُثْبِتُ وَعِندَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ

yamhullah ma yasha’ wa yuthbitu wa `indahu ummu’l-kitab.

Allah doth blot out or confirm what He pleaseth: with Him is the Mother of the Book [13:39]

[On that night] we ask,“O Allah don’t make us shaqee but make us su`ada. Takes us from the bad people and put us to the good people.” Awliya know that du`a is there [is acceptable]. O human beings! This is in Allah’s Knowledge but Allah gave us ways to get out of it. He gave us a way to tell us “try to be good.

[He said,] “Take the mattresses of dunya and bring the mattresses of akhira.”

It means don’t be living a life that all in it is bad desires and bad pleasures, but live a life that is happy desires and good desires and good pleasures and good desires. To look in Allah’s way is to look for what Allah wants us to do and leave what Allah doesn’t want us to do.

Awliyaullah when their hearts are coming on the way of Allah swt on the sirat al-mustaqeem, they will listen to no one except Him. Whatever you ask them, they might give you an order that is different from what you think. They don’t accept to go according to your opinion.

These days awliyaullah they bring their level down to your level. Before, no. They will never accept. Because before people were more powerful on their faith, they have more strength on their faith, they will accept whatever comes from the shaykh. Today no. They will run away. That is why today you see the shuyukh who are so soft with their students they have hundreds, thousands, even hundreds of thousands of students. The people who are strict have very few students. People today like softness, they don’t like strictness.

Do you like to wear soft clothes or thick clothes? Soft! So they invented today a kind of detergent that makes your clothes to be soft. And so now everyone running to buy that detergent to make their clothes soft and give a nice smell. Softener. It takes away all the elements that are rough in order to make it very soft.

Did they have that 100 years ago? No, they had only soap, no detergent. Therefore everything reflects what is in this life. Before they didn’t have soft clothes; they are easygoing on what they do [i.e. ease was not a concern].

Today they want soft awliyaullah. To relax and sleep and the shaykh will do for you everything.

Fold up your mattresses, sleep on the floor and don’t be soft. If you life a life that is not soft you will live in akhira a life that is soft.

Today awliyaullah are very soft, and else all people will run from them. Today you see them they have followers from every race. You dump on him all your garbage and you don’t want any difficulty. If you face difficulty you run away. So what does he do? He carries all these difficulties and goes to the Prophet (s) and says, “I accept all this garbage” and goes to the Presence of Prophet (s) with all his followers, clean.

Awliyaullah they have softener. They soften you and give you a good smell. You put Bounce to have a good smell. You are stinky, what kind of Bounce do you need? We need a big package of Bounce. The awliyaullah take a big package and they carry their followers and present them to the Prophet (s) with their nice smell. Then prophet with his love takes them all in and with his shafa`a takes to the presence of Allah. Prophet has shafa`a in dunya and akhira.

Are we gong to enter through door of light, where Allah is nur as-samawati wal ard.

Or we are going to enter from door of darkness, dhulumat. Allah wants us to enter through door of light.

So awliyaullah don’t listen except to Allah swt. They don’t want you to enter except by door of happiness. They don’t see you. They cover your mistakes they don’t want to see it. They try to vile you form these mistakes. They want tot see Divine Presence and they want to take you there. If they see your big mistakes they cannot easily take you. From that power of Sattar, they cover you completely; to cover you from being naked. When we do something wrong we become naked and so they cover us.

They a re between majesty and beauty, they don’t bend right or left. They have only a front. You know we have a front and a back. They don’t have a back. They have a front only. Lahum amam wa laysa lahum wara. That means they are always looking straight forward. What happened , happened. They are living their moments. Allah is saying come forward. We say, “no we want to go backwards.” They say, “Come to ma`rifatullah.” “No! we want to go back.”

Awliyaullah don’t look back. That means, what happened [before], it is finished it is gone. If you bring it up it is not acceptable, it is not nice, then it becomes backbiting. Why is it called “back” biting. It means biting in the back. They bite you.

Who is biting you? It means anyone who looks back is biting your back and carrying your sins. The Prophet (s) prohibited backbiting. When you look forward and don’t look backward then ins will become your servant. They will come to you and they will help you and they will work for you without you asking. Why? Because you are always moving forward always facing the Divine Presence and as we mentioned the story of the Prophet (s) when he put the Sahaba in front of him and the sun at their back and said to them to catch their shadows. Then when they could not, he told them, “Put the sun at your back. Catch your shadow and run.” Then he said, " look to me and run” and the sun was behind them. Then their shadows ran towards them. That means “look to me, and come to me!” Then dunya will run after you.

Then dunya will become your servant as Allah provided Sayyida Maryam, he provides everything.

He provided His Prophet (s) with everything. What did He say? إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ Inna `ataynak al-kawthar – Verily we have given thee (O Muhammad) ,the Fount of Kawthar.” [108:1]

That means on one meaning we have given you river of Kawthar. But on the other side it means “We have given you endless knowledge and favors.” فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ - Therefore, Praise Him endlessly.

إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ

Verily, he that hates thee has indeed been cut off [from all that is good]! [108:3]

The one who spoke against are the one who has no reputation.

It means:

Their name is going to end. Your name is until the Judgment Day. All prophets will run to you asking shafa`a with their umam, nations. Those who speak about you their reputation is cut and they cannot do anything. Don’t worry about yourself. Allah swt will make ins to run after you to help you. He makes jinn to help you. He makes kings and presidents to help you and makes all kinds of creations that we don’t know, that Allah and His Prophet (s) know and the awliyaullah learn from the Prophet (s) that there are living species, living creatures that you cannot see them.

The Prophet (s) used to send Sayyidina `Ali Radiallahu anhu to these planets that are near the earth.

One time Sayyida Fatima came to the Prophet (s) and said, “I am not coming to complain to you, O my father, but I have a problem.” He said, "Do you have a problem with Sayyidina `Ali?” She said, "No, my father. I feel shy to mention it. But sometimes he doesn’t come at night for 2 or 3 days. I have no doubts, but I am worried about him.” He said, "Don’t worry, I sent him to the planets that are nearest to the earth.”

How was he able to go without space shuttle. Which planets. They say now they are going to Mars and to the moon. More than that are they going we don’t know. We don’t know even, if they made the pictures up. But let us go with it, and say they went to those planets, how long it takes to send that spacecraft to Mars? They send it and even then they cannot bring it back. And it takes 2-3 years. Sayyidina `Ali - it takes him one moment. What did he use? Don’t be surprised what he used. Allah gave His Prophet (s) power, he used that power.

يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ

Ya ma`ashara aljinni wa’l-insi ini istata`tum an tanfuthoo min aqtari as-samawati wal-ardi fa’nfudhoo la tanfudhoona illa bi-sultan.

O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! [55:33]

It means, “O jinn and ins if you are able to penetrate from the atmosphere of this earth you go, but you need a vehicle, a sultan. Not to go and don’t come. “Go and come!” [go there and return] Allah said.

Sayyidina `Ali was going with that sultan, Sultan al-`ilm. Kun fayakoon. Allah gave the power to awliyaullah. Only drops or crumbs from Prophet’s power he gave to awliyaullah.

So Sayyidina `Ali Radiallahu anhu was going with that power.

He makes jinn to serve you and he makes ins to serve you.

Look Sayyidina Sulayman Alayhissalam when he wants to bring that throne of Sheba he asked the strongest jinn he has. That jinn, if he puts his hand on the mountain he will make it ashes. That was the strongest jinn he has.

قَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا المَلَأُ أَيُّكُمْ يَأْتِينِي بِعَرْشِهَا قَبْلَ أَن يَأْتُونِي مُسْلِمِينَ قَالَ عِفْريتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ وَإِنِّي عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٌ قَالَ الَّذِي عِندَهُ عِلْمٌ مِّنَ الْكِتَابِ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ قَبْلَ أَن يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْكَ طَرْفُكَ



He said: O chiefs! Which of you will bring me her throne before they come unto me, surrendering? A stalwart of the Jinn said: I will bring it thee before thou canst rise from thy place. Lo! I verily am strong and trusty for such work.

One with whom was knowledge of the Scripture said: I will bring it thee before thy gaze returneth unto thee. [27:38-40]

He said, "I need that throne,” to that jinni. He said, "O Messenger of Allah I can bring it to you. But it is going to take the time until your meeting is finished. About 1 or 2 days.”

The distance from Yemen to Quds ash-Sharif, it takes a long time. He said, "my meeting will be over before that. I want it before she comes.” Then Asif ibn Barkhiyya, one of his ministers that had knowledge of the book of Dawud, Zaboor, he had sultan. He had that sultan, vehicle, mentioned in that verse [55:33]. He said, “I will bring that to you.” In the blink of an eye he bought it there.

In a blink of an eye the throne was there.

That is the power of ins (human beings). Don’t think ins don’t have power. When we say ins, we mean awliyaullah that are within human race. Allah will make these awliyaullah to work for you. Those who are in lower levels do work for those on higher levels. So Allah will make ins, jinn, scholars, president and kings, to work for you as you are looking forward, not looking backward. Let us cut our back, then we cannot look back. Why look back then. You look at the backs of others. You don’t see your own ego, that is a hump like the hump of a camel. You don’t look at your own hump. So why do you look at the back of people?

Awliyaullah only look at the faces of people and they take them to presence of the Prophet (s).

“Al-hikam wal-`ilm wal ma`rifah, takhdimahum - Wisdom, knowledge and gnosis serve them and their provisions are sincerity and their food is sincerity and the water that they drink is familiarity. They are in one valley and humans are in the other valley. They are in the valley where they only see Allah’s order and they try to pull out of the valley of this world the people who are falling in it - to pull them out and bring them to the presence of the Prophet (s).

They are the real inheritors of the Prophet (s).

Their duty their work is for Allah swt;

They don’t work for dunya;

Ttheir work is to save humanity.

Their presence on this earth is a blessing

and a mercy.

Their presence is light.

Their presence is oceans.

Their presences are rivers.

They are like the dew on the leaves

in the early morning.

They are the dew of the hearts of every being.

They are the light upon light.

They are the oceans of knowledge

They are the pen that can write

and the tongue that can speak

and the heart that can love

and they are the body

that they can sail as a vehicle

or as a vessel sailing

in the ocean of knowledge.

May Allah forgive us and may Allah bless us, wa min Allah at-tawfeeq, bi-hurmatil Fatiha.

Your duty is to keep consistent on what they gave us and their duty is to take you to the light

As we said in the previous session that Allah swt is waiting for us to reach Him, to come to Him. But there is between and Him there are veils, between us and Prophet there are veils. Our shuyukh , Mawlana Shaykh said that “There are 70,000 veils between us and Prophet. Every veil is thicker than this universe.”

That is the way we are, we cannot see, like a blind person. We are in dhulmah, darkness.

But always the opposite of darkness is light. It is light waiting for us. So as long as our ego is with us that darkness is in front of us. As long as the ego disappears, darkness disappears because darkness comes from Iblees and light comes from Allah swt.

Iblees asked his Lord. He believes, he cannot say “I don’t believe.”

قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ َ إِلَى يَومِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ

He said, "O my Lord leave to the Day of Judgment. Not to the Day of Judgment but until You take everything from this earth. I will be after your servants.” Innaka lamin al-mundhireen ila waqt il-m`aloom. [15:36-38]

“I am leaving you to the day that I want, that I know; not the day you want.” He wanted to be [left free] until Resurrection Day. But Allah said “no, I am leaving you to the day I assign. You are not the one who can assign. So I am leaving you.”


So Iblees, he knows. He asked Allah swt “leave me to the Resurrection Day.” Allah accepted. Azahmat Allah.

Al-`afuw `inda al-maqdira - To forgive when you are able to forgive. You are able to harm and you are able to forgive. You are asking, Allah said, "so I am giving to you.”

Here you have 2 issues. 1) Iblees is believing in Allah and knows that Allah is the one who can give everything and he asked him to give.

2) And Allah responded and gave.

That means if we ask do you think Allah doesn’t give? Iblees was asking with strong faith that “you are my Lord. I committed the sin, I am confirming it. Yes You are my Lord but I am going to show You: I can go and trick them.” Therefore Allah said, "ok go ahead. We will see who is stronger, you or My mercy.

So whoever says la ilaha illa-Allah muhammadun Rasulullah, will enter Jannah. So don’t worry. But awliyaullah want us to worry; they want to cut that rock down. They want to bring that diamond out.

So after that darkness the light is there. The light of the moon is there, the light of the sun is there. When you enter the light you will be surprised. Awliyaullah were stunned when they entered that light. That mean they entered a state or a level where they can see what people cannot see.

We are running, running, running for what. Everyone has a goal and trying to run to it.

You are coming here or going there, or going to other places. You are asking something that your soul is in need for that. You have to know that Allah happy with you and prophet is happy with you else you will never come so far. It is not easy to come to the door of awliyaullah to come to door of Mawlana Shaykh if you were not chose you would not be here.

How many people are lost. They don’t know where is the door. They are struggling although we know the door. But we are not doing what is necessary to open the door. But they are opening the door from their love to you. You think they are asking anything for you.

وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِالآيَاتِ إِلاَّ تَخْوِيفًا

Wa ma nursilu bil-ayati illa takhweefa

We only send the Signs by way of terror (and warning from evil). [17:59]

“We only send the verses of Holy Qur'an to scare you.” Allah said in Holy Qur'an. “We only send what We say to you is to scare you, because when you are scared you come back to normal.”

You are off track. Then they say to the pilot, “You are off track.” Where is that captain? Captain! [wakes up] [just out of track] when you are fling and you are off track, so what the computer says to you? “Go in opposite Direction” go and correct yourself. So immediately you correct himself. That Is the first level. That is the lower level. You go off track and immediately. They send you a signal you are off track.

The higher level is computerised. It will correct itself by itself. You are all computerized. When you gave initiation from Mawlana Shaykh finished your system is computerized. They have to work we are not responsible. They have to be responsible. They accepted to give their hands. Since they gave it they cannot pull it, finished. That is why, be careful, don’t have doubts. Doubts is dangerous. Awliyaullah don’t like anyone to doubt their power. Keep your faith strong in awliyaullah keep your faith storing in prophet, keep your faith in your Creator: your problems will be solved. “Ya Rabbee! for the sake of Your awliyaullah solve our problems - we are weak servants.”

So as soon as you gave your hand you are in light, but still veiled you are computerized. They correct you from within your heart. That is why sometimes you feel yourself regretting what you have done. If you were not computerized why do you have to regret what you have done? Those who don’t believe don’t feel they have a problem. They don’t know so it doesn’t mean anything to them. But for you, you do. You immediately remember, and forget. You say istaghfirullah. Like alarm system, it comes immediately ringing the bell.

If you give, if you take the hand of the Shaykh and the guide then you are eating sweets. If you have a guide you will be saved, dunya and akhira. If you don’t have a guide as if you are eating broken glass. Every bite there is a wound. Your system will be wounded form mouth to stomach to intestines. Awliyaullah if you take their hands, they will turn that glass into sweetness. You know they do glass from candy, from sugar. You think it is glass but it is sugar, it is sweet. That glass awliyaullah can turn to sweetness. Don’t think their hands are tight, they are not like us, they can do everything. We cannot do anything.

When they pass you from darkness to light immediately the sun of ma`rifatullah will rise in the horizon of your heart and you will be able to differentiate what to follow and were to follow.

Let us say the truth. We are still struggling and we are still far. We don’t know, like a child, you can see the children, very young children, where do they look? They have a focus in front of them. They don’t allow themselves to turn away from what they are focusing on. Always they focus on one thing, not on two. They are focusing on somewhere. And you see them, when they focus, always they feel the presence of that one: either the mother or the father. They are always focusing on the mother or the father. As soon as they see that there is a problem in front of them - although it might not be a problem - but as soon as they are scared they extend the hand to pull the hand of the mother or the father.

So also those who took initiation always when they are facing a problem, their hands go where? To their guide. Do you think the mother or the father will not give the hand to the child? Even if they don’t, the child will reach the hand of the parent and pull them.

Awliyaullah accepted to be our fathers, then they have to carry our burdens. “Ya Rabbee you put them guide on us. They have to take with our hands. They cannot drop it they are responsible. Else why are they giving baya`. That is not free. There is a price they are paying for it out of their love.”

That is why we are not understanding but those whose veils have been taken, though we are in light because of their guidance, but still there is a veil because we have to overcome our ego. Everything is ego. I don’t know why Allah swt put ego on us?

It is out of His love because He wants us to struggle to get more. He put ego, and He knows best. He put whatever He put. But He… haha … if He wanted to not put ego, He would not have put ego and make us to suffer.

Now what we are? We are suffering. He likes you to suffer because He wants you to appreciate the goodness that He is giving. The generosity He is giving. We cannot understand generosity unless we lose it. When we lose our health we understand it; when we lose wealth we understand it. When we lose anything then we understand and we can appreciate.

The best thing to lose is arrogance and anger, the bad characteristics that ego is carrying.

Even Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam who is a prophet from the uli’l azam, he is a high prophet from the five high prophets. He said, "O Allah let me see You!” He is a prophet. The only one that saw Allah is the Prophet Muhammad (s), with the eyes of his head. Let those who deny that go to Imam Nawawi. He said that. Go and ask from him. We are only taking from that and quoting from him in Sharh Sahih Muslim, where he said, "The Prophet saw his Lord with the eyes of his head.”

Because he is the mirror, of course he is going to see. Because everything you see is reflected in the Divine mirror. Everything is reflected in the mirror, then it appears. Who is the mirror? Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the mirror. Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam is not the mirror. He is one of the very high prophets of the five highest ones. But Prophet Muhammad (s) is Seal of the Messengers and he is the...

So Nabi Musa Alayhissalam, he said “Ya Rabbee! Let me see You!” And he kept asking. Ask as much as you want to see how much he will push.

So say, “Ya Rabbee! I am Your servant. You created me like that; a burden. I am Your servant and asking You, give me!”

If Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam had gone to the presence of the Prophet (s), Allah would have given him. But he went directly.

You have to go through an intercessor. There is no way to go directly. He went directly and so Allah sent him back. Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam, he is speaking with Allah directly. “You want to see Me, I will not say ‘no’ to you.” Because he was what? He was consistent; he keeps asking and asking and asking. Allah said, with His generosity. “I accept but with one condition. Look at the mountain. I will manifest My Beautiful Names and Attributes on the mountain. If the mountain will stay after I manifest to it, then you can see Me.”

وَلَمَّا جَاء مُوسَى لِمِيقَاتِنَا وَكَلَّمَهُ رَبُّهُ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي أَنظُرْ إِلَيْكَ قَالَ لَن تَرَانِي وَلَـكِنِ انظُرْ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ فَإِنِ اسْتَقَرَّ مَكَانَهُ فَسَوْفَ تَرَانِي فَلَمَّا تَجَلَّى رَبُّهُ لِلْجَبَلِ جَعَلَهُ دَكًّا وَخَرَّ موسَى صَعِقًا فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَاْ أَوَّلُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And when Moses came [to Mount Sinai] at the time set by Us, and his Sustainer spoke unto him, he said: "O my Sustainer! Show [Thyself] unto me, so that I might behold Thee!" Said [God]: "Never canst thou see Me. However, behold this mountain: if it remains firm in its place, then - only then - wilt thou see Me. And as soon as his Lord revealed His glory to the mountain, He caused it to crumble to dust; and Moses fell down in a swoon. And when he came to himself, he said: "Limitless art Thou in Thy glory! Unto Thee do I turn in repentance; and I shall [always] be the first to believe in Thee!" [Surat Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:143]

It didn’t happen like that. When Allah tajala `ala al-jabala – manifested to the mountain, the mountain cannot take it anymore. What happened?

When Allah manifested his Beautiful Names and Attributes to the Prophet (s):

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

“inna anzalnahu fee laylati ’l-qadr - We have revealed the Qur'an to your heart on the Night of Power.” And it didn’t crash down.

لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبَلٍ لَّرَأَيْتَهُ خَاشِعًا مُّتَصَدِّعًا مِّنْ خَشْيَةِ اللَّهِ وَتِلْكَ الْأَمْثَالُ نَضْرِبُهَا لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

Law anzalna hadha al-qurana `ala jabalin la-raaytahu khashi`an mutasaddi`an min khashyatillahi wa tilka al-amthaalu nadribuha lin-naasi la`allahum yatafakkaroona.

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. [Surat al-Hashr, 59:21]

“If We had revealed the Holy Qur'an to a mountain it would have shattered.”

When Allah reveled his Beautiful Names and Attributes to the Prophet (s), because it [Beautiful Names and Attributes] is part of Holy Qur'an, and Qur’an is not makhluq, created, it is from Allah’s Ancient Words. When He revealed it to the Prophet (s) his heart was taking it. When Allah revealed it to a mountain it will be shattered.

When Allah tajala to the mountain, then the mountain shattered and Musa Alayhissalam fainted. Kharra musa sa’iqan. When he woke up and opened his eyes what did he see?

Ibn `Abbas explained that verse of Holy Qur'an:

When he wakes up, what he saw? Ibn `Abbas said: “He saw the Prophet (s). He saw the Prophet (s) and all the other prophets in rows. Some standing and some making sajda. 313 were making sajda behind the Prophet and the rest of 124,000 prophets were standing.” He didn’t see the Divine Presence. What did he see? He saw the Leader and Master of all prophets.

It means “everything, ya Musa is reflected through the Prophet. If you went to him and came to Me through him, then it is ok.”

It is like… you cannot say that, but [simply] as an example. Like when you want to take electricity you cannot take direct from the source; you need a transformer.

“Ya Musa Alayhissalam! you cannot take directly from Me. You need someone to reduce the power from the source. Even though you are one of the five main messengers, but everything has its discipline.”

And awliyaullah through their knowledge…. How do they acquire knowledge? Knowledge is not difficult [to acquire] if you follow their ways. Their ways is to be consistent on what they ask you to do.

Prophet showed Sayyidina Abu Bakr, what Sayyidina Abu Bakr saw he gave to Sayyidina Salman and what Salman saw he gave to Sayyidina Qassim; and from Sayyidina Qassim to Sayyidina Ja`far... It is a chain of command, one to one, one to one, until it reached you. If you follow you will be in the train there. You are jumping in the wagons and the engine is pulling all the cars and that “engine” is Sayyidina Muhammad (s).

So be consistent on what you are told to recite and read. Don’t come after five years and say, “I am doing for five years and I cannot see anything.” Why do you have to see? That is not required. They see on your behalf. Like today people learn basic knowledge in computer and they want to see more. There are more things now with technology, the whole world is connected. Out of greediness we want to know everything. For what to know? Less knowledge, easy life. Too much knowledge, too much difficulties. Basic knowledge: I know how to pray and to make wudu. That is enough.

Come and listen. Eat sweets and candies and go. No responsibility. Let our shuyukh take responsibility. They took the lead, ok let them take responsibility. They cannot blame you; they know you are helpless and weak. So Allah swt wants consistency from us. He wants to see if we keep asking and asking and asking. And this is what Grandshaykh always says, “You have to come and put this in front of you.” Don’t come and say, “I am student and I am `alim and I am representative.” “Ok,” Shaykh will say, “I am accepting that, you are me.” But you and me have to have three focuses. Three nails in your forehead. And when you put a nail you cannot take it out. What can take the nail out? Pliers? No, because when the nail goes inside it has no head. You cannot pull it. Then only one thing can pull it – another nail. You put another nail and hammer it. The other will go.

So finished. When you take hand of the Shaykh you are under 3 nails. That is your job, no more. They know how to take that nail out. He said, "Always in front of his students, in front of those who are listening to him, you have to have 3 nails.”

The first nail is “if an ant is on the east and Allah swt tell the ant and commands her, ‘O my ant, the creature I created you and your rizq is in the west,’ the ant moves and it doesn’t stop and for sure it isn’t going to reach the west. It might be she needs to be surviving forever in order to reach the west. But the ant, what it does? It moves. Don’t say “no.” And how the ant knows where the food is? And you see the ants moving and finding. Who inspired them how to find the food? Who inspired you, inspired them. Allah swt. So the ant moves. And she knows it cannot reach. But her job is to move.

Our job is like that. If they tell us “You are in the east and our trust is in the west, you are in darkness and your trust and light are in the west” you do what? You keep moving. Don’t stop. Like someone in the desert. What does he do? He doesn’t stop. If you stop you are finished.

Then inayatullah will reach you. Allah’s mercy, Grandshaykh used to call reeh as-siba.And that breath will come and carry you to the west immediately and you get your trust.

Second nail: If they give you broken shovel and say “your trust is deep in the center of the earth. What is your duty to do? Take your shovel and begin your work. We say: “O my Lord this shovel is broken, and it is only half a shovel; how can I dig?” Your duty is to dig. You may not ask that. Then reeh as-siba, the cool breeze comes and takes you to center of the earth.

The third nail is, you have to empty the ocean. Your trust is under the ocean. They don’t tell you to dive, no, not yet. They say, “empty the ocean” and they give you bucket full of holes. They know you cannot empty the ocean, even with a turbine pump with its own generator. They give you bucket full of holes and say “clear the ocean.”

When they were clearing birr Zamzam, they were not able, digging and digging and cleaning, and they were not able to reach the final source as the water coming is so huge. So they brought two huge turbines and they pumped the water. But as soon as they take the whole water out, in 2-3 seconds the whole water comes back under the Ka`bah.

How are you going to empty the ocean? But your duty is what? To try. Then they take you and dive you down.

So your duty is to keep consistent on what they gave you to do. Then they take you to the light. There is no light you can achieve by yourself. Only if awliyaullah take you to Sayyidina Muhammad. He is mirror everything. We must feel we are blocked. Say, “Ya Rabbee, You opened for your awliyaullah! You open for us because we are coming to You and You are generous. And our shuyukh are generous. Your Beloved one [Habibullah] is generous. Open to us with Your favors and mercy that at least we can smell from that heavenly smell!”

As I am saying this the presence of Grandshaykh and Mawlana Shaykh was there. We want to see them. Some people, Allah gave them power they close their eyes and their Shaykh is in front of them. “Give us that Ya Rabbee! The power to not only smell them and hear them but to see them. To see the Holy Prophet (s).”
