La tukthir li hammik, ma quddir yakoon

Allahu’l-muqaddir wa’l-`alam shu`oon

There is one poetry from one of the big `ulama…

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

Nawaytu'l-arba`een, nawaytu'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu'l-khalwah, nawaytu'l-riyaada, nawaytu's-salook, nawaytu'l-`uzlah lillahi ta`ala fee hadha'l-masjid

First, we like to say that, and we have to repeat every time, because Allah said in Holy Qur'an,

وَذَكِّرْفَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Wa dhakkir fa inna adh-dhikra tanfa`u al-mumineena

But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. Surat adh-Dhaariyat [51:55]

Allah is saying to the Holy Prophet (s) that remind them because by reminder believers get benefit. If you don’t remind people how are they going to get benefit. Might be you see I am doing a mistake, your obligation is to remind me that I made a mistake. This is very difficult today. People don’t like anyone to tell they did a mistake.

“Al-amr bi ’l-ma`ruf wan-nahiy `ani ’l-munkar - to call for what is good and to object to what is bad.” All of us have things we do that Allah is happy with it and we have things that we do that Allah is not happy with it. So Allah says in Holy Qur'an to the Prophet (s): “Remind them! Because by reminding them they get benefit.”

Doctors today, they have something that they send you after you visit them, they send you a letter that this is the time to make a check back, to make a checkup. They are reminding you. Don’t think we treated you. Ok they treated you when you are in need for acute treatment. Don’t say “ok, my doctor treated me,” so I am ok. Might be you need a checkup. Might be your blood changed now; might be your sugar changed now, you have diabetes now. So doctors remind people.Come and check, come and check. Allah swt sent to humanity, not the best doctor, but He sent to humanity themaster of masters of doctors. The master of master of kings, the master of master of leadership, the master of master of knowing everything. Allah sent Sayyidina Muhammad (s) to remind us. That is why the Allah sent the Prophet Muhammad (s) as a carrier of revelation and telling him to remind them, remind them, remind them every moment.

So that is why Sayyidina `Umar (r)when he because ameer al-mumineen he appointed, he called someone to sit at this door every day. When he goes out form his house, eh will remind him, that person, “Ya Umar remember death!” Not to say “Ya ameer al-mumineen”, not to say “Sayyidina `Umar (r).”

Out of respect we have to say “ameer al-mumineen” and out of respect we have to say “Sayyidina `Umar (r).” But him he doesn’t want to give respect to his ego. Awliyaullah and Sahaba they understood that. Don’t give respect to yourself. When Allah gives you respect then you are honored. You don’t want to honor yourself by yourself, then that is arrogance. Today we honor ourselves by ourselves. So what Sayyidina `Umar (r) do? He appointed someone to remind him when he goes in the door, “Ya `Umar, there is death.” And when he goes out, “Ya `Umar there is death.”

Then one day. Sayyidina `Umar (r) called him and said thank you very much. You did a good job. Now your job is finish. That man became sad, he loves Sayyidina `Umar (r). He is not doing for money, he is doing it for love of Sayyidina `Umar (r). he said, did I do anythingwrong. So he said, "no you did good job”. But Allah said in Holy Qur'an, Wa dhakkir fa inna adh-dhikra tanfa`u al-mumineena - to remind the mumins will benefit them. That is why don’t get angry when someone reminds you of something. You get angry quickly when someone says something. I get angry he get angry. All get angry. Don’t say I need to sit up, his leg is hurting as he had car accident. Alhamdulillah I don’t have pain by Allah’s blessing. Sitting here I can see everyone, sitting down I cannot. So one is sitting up because of pain and the other to see. there Is no difference Between any of us. We are all from the nation of Sayyidina Muhammad (s). We are all equal.

I like him. Whenever I say the name of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) he stands up. I am noticing him. Respect. He reminds himself. “O you! Stand out of respect, stand up!” He has a reminder.

Now on the computer they put a thing called what? A reminder. For certain work you have to do. This is a computer. Doesn’t Allah have a computer? This computer we have compared to heavenly computer is a toy, a plastic computer. There are heavenly computers that bring everything back. Whatever you have downloaded or uploaded zoom in or zoom out. You find it all there in heavenly computer. We are not going to discuss that now.

So Sayyidina `Umar (r) said, "Finished, I don’t need a reminder now. Someone is reminding me now of death.” He said, "I love you ya Sayyidina `Umar (r). Did you get someone else?” he said, “No. Today I found in my beard, that in my black beard one white hair. That is a reminder in me now, that akhira is approaching. I am moving towards my last days.”

Look his beard is white, my beard is white. What does that mean? Look his beard is black. What does that mean Abdul Wahid? [it means he is young] He is young. I am older, he is older. But no one knows. Allah knows how long each one is going to live. It is a reminder you are carrying a computer in your body telling that time has finished your time is approaching. You cannot take another person’s time and another’s. And in that time Allah gave us a lot of opportunities to be with the Prophet (s).

We have to stand up also.

Why Allah gave Ottomans 700 years of khilapha. They ruled from Spain up, I went one time to an island in Malaysia, It is within Malaysia and they said we want to take you to that island. Malaysia, in SE Asia. They took me to meet someone who is very old, might 110 year of age. But strong. They said we want to go visit his house. We went there and we saw a picture. They said, "Do you know whose picture is this?” of course I know it is obvious. It is Sultan Abdul Hameed who was in the early 20th cent. He was sultan of Ottoman empire from Spain all the way to Malaysia. I was surprised. Ottomans reached Malaysia? That old man said, " and that was ten year or more ago” he said that my father put that picture there. And he said, "this is our king, our sultan. This is the sultan of Muslims.”Like that one was young. So that one put the picture ands telling his children this is our sultan. They never saw him, he is in Turkey and they never could reach there. It means Islam reached these areas and ottomans hey were in control of these areas. That is why in association of the sultan when the name of the Prophet (s) is mentioned they stand up. Now they mentioned hundreds of times and no one stands up. That is why because of their love to the Prophet (s) and respect the ummah was up. Allah chose the Prophet (s)and selected him and respected him. If we respect whom Allah respected we will be raised up. That is why Muslims are coming down and down. Why? Because we are not respecting our leader.

So Sayyidina `Umar (r) said, "There is a reminder now. That death is approaching. So I don’t need you anymore”

So Allah told the Prophet (s), remind them for the reminder will give them benefit.

Remind them of what. We get upset when someone reminds us. If I did something wrong and someone comes to say you did something wrong my brother, change it. What will happen? A fight will happen. Why? Because we cannot tolerate each other any more.

Because of a big struggle between good and evil. Prophet said in last days there will be too much evilness around the world. Wherever you look you look at haraam. That is evil. There is no anymore a place to look and talk and speak and do something except that it is mixed with haraam. Even you don’t want to do haraam but it is blended inside. No more is it clean pure, everything has been blended. So Allah told Muhammad (s) remind them. So our duty is to remind ourselves first. Don’t go and remind him that he is wrong when you are wrong on the same issue.

I was in Mecca, one day and sitting as everyone sitting facing the Ka`bah. Looking and making dhikr and reading Qur’an and every day. And every day someone passes and looks at me. He looks at me. He wants to speak with me and he sees me reading Holy Qur'an, and he wants me to stop, he is upset. He goes and then comes. He doesn’t like something. Goes and comes.. after one week he cant take it anymore he has to speak. He acme to me and said, "Ya shaykh!” when they say “Ya shaykh” it means they are angry. So he said, "Ya shaykh!” I am sitting there like that, I am not doing umrah or hajj because I used to live there and I go to visit Ka`bah and sit and read Qur’an.

He said, “Ya shaykh! Why your beard is long?” I looked and said, “why? any problem?” he said, “Yes.!” He was satiated. He said, "don’t you know that the Prophet’s beard was not more than one qabda?” [Means to here Shaykh shows one fist] I said, "I know.” He said, “Why then your beard is longer.” I said to him, I quote you the hadith or you quote the hadith. The Prophet (s) said, "huff ash-shawarib wa `affuw anil lahya” he said, " trim, you see they make the mustaches very small or sometimes they make, like Shaykh Mustafa, because it has two meanings, huff means take away completely, but the is not taking but they don grow. Take away completely or trim it and leave the beard. `aff `an ish-shay means “leave it to grow.”

I didn’t say don’t you know. That is not adab. When you say don’t you know that is scolding him. I said as soon as the Prophet’s beard reaches one qabda, it breaks and falls down. That is why the beard doesn’t go more. He never put a scissors on it. That is why I leave it.

He didn’t like that answer but he cannot argue with that answer. He looked at me. I said, "can I ask you a question?’ he said, "Yes.” It is good he is letting me to ask. I said, why are you asking me about my beard and you have no beard. He is complaining about my beard when he has no beard. But I remember Grandshaykh advice and Mawlana Shaykh advice, anyone comes to you and gives advice, swallow it. Listen and obey. Sam`ina wa ata`na. listen and obey. If that person what he says is according to Shari`ah no harm. If what he says contradicts the Shariah leave it.

So reminding someone is good. Allah reminded our nafs, our self, when he said, fa-alhamaha fujooraha wa taqwaaha. Allah reminded the self of what is good for it and what is bad." So if Allah is inspiring the self, that is Qur’an, Qur’an for every moment of your life. So that means every moment he is inspiring and until Judgment Day inspiring the self of what is good and what is bad. What is good continue and what is bad leave.

So reminder is good in Islamic understanding. That is why if you see someone saying something listen. Don’t throw it back in his face. It might be he is saying something good that Allah is sending that one to remind you. Why I have to say no.” because there are people whom you don’t know Allah said in Holy Qur'an, about Sayyidina Musa , and his helper, in Surat al-Kahf, fa wajada `abdan min `ibaadina.. `ilman.

Allah sent them on that tip, when Sayyidina Musa asking too many question they found one servant form one of our servants. One from many. That means that Allah has many servants. That will come and remind you at any moment in your life, without you knowing them been sent by Allah or been sent by themselves it is hidden. So that is why you have to weight everything by balance of Shariah.

Awliyaullah say if you don’t know Shariah what to do? People don’t know all the laws of Shariah. People know how to pray and fast and make wudu but there are other issue in life you don’t know. He said, Allah gave you a mind. Everyone Allah gave intelligence and gave him a mind. Different from each other, everyone has something that he can understand. And Allah says laa yukallifullahu nafsan illa wu`saha. So they say, " and that is why they are more flexible than scholars. Awliyaullah are more flexible, they can work out something with the people. Scholars cannot they have to follow 1,2,3,4,5. they cannot deviate. They have to follow the track. They didn’t know the railway there are diversions. They want to take you direct straight on the track. But they do not know there are diversions that awliyaullah can do that. According to your capacity and then come back to the straight track. According to the load or capacity youcan carry. You can carry load of a car but he can carry the weight of a truck. I cannot carry the weight of a vessel only the capacity of a truck. He is capacity of a car he is capacity of truck.

So if you cannot get an answer weigh it according to the scale of what your mind says. If you mind says “Ok” do it. Innamal amaalu bi’n-niyyaat. If your intention is good. That is why the Prophet (s) said “if a judge gives the right decision he will be rewarded twice and if wrong once” Not everyone can give the right decision. Giving right decision it is very difficult.

So weigh it according to your understanding. If it says “good”, do it. If it says “no”, back up. That is why reminder is good.

So we go back to the beginning. That man who made that poetry, he said,

La tukthir li hammik, ma quddir yakoon

Allahu’l-muqaddir wa’l-`alam shu`oon

He is talking to himself. Don’t worry too much to your problem. don’t make yourself to worry too much. What is written is written. What Allah decided he decided. W’Allahu muqaddir wal-`alam shu`oon. Allah is the one that wrote it, he is the one that planned it and the people are his subjects. Every one is a shaan. Different form the other. Allah will give every one different. So if you look at them you are looking at their creator. If you object on them you are objecting on their creator.

This is not on the first level of religion. This is at the highest level maqam al-ihsaan. Not to speak about anyone anything. To give high respect to everyone. That is not easy

According to the hadith of the Prophet, never was he asked for something and he said, " no.” never that is narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. Never he asked for something and he said, " “no.” he has to give it or he has to answer. Whatever he has been asked. How many times we have been asked something and we say “no.” prophet never.

One time Sayyidina Ayesha and this is to show how they were living. Sayyid Ayesha narrating that hadith that one day she was telling the Prophet (s) what happened to her during the day. She said, "Ya sayyidee, ya Rasulullah, ya rahmatan lil-`alameen. They don’t call him by Muhammad. They call him with respect. That is his wife. Ya Rasulullah ya nabiullah. Respect. We even mention his name with no respect. Even we say Muhammad (s), not saying rasulullah not saying sayyidee not saying habeebullah. Why is it not true. I don’t know why? It might be zallat lisan. Slip of the tongue. Some people might not do it by intention that they are disrespecting but they didn’t make it a habit to make their tongue give respect.

So she was telling him. Ya Rasulullah today a lady knocked my odor and I was so happy with the way she was handling the situation. And the Prophet (s) was listening. And she came asking for sadaqa do you have anything to give to me. She was carrying two children. One on the right and one on the left, young ones. And she asked me for a sadaqa. No money, they don’t have money. Prophet never carried money. Do we carry money? Allahu Akbar. Prophet never carried money. He used to have the sliver and gold coins but he never carried. The mountain of Uhud came to the Prophet (s) and said, "I will turn myself into gold for you.” The Prophet (s) said, “we don’t need you.” If that mountain turn into gold then the whole Ummah will be rich. But Allah made that mountain to be heaviest mountain on earth. The awliyaullah say if you put Uhud on one side of the scale and all the other mountains of earth on the other side the side of Uhud will go down.
Because of the riches inside it. Because of that baraka that whole area is full of oil. That is because of Uhud. The Saudis know if you dig you find a lot of jewelry, lot of diamonds, lot of jewelry, lot of gold but they leave it.

So she was telling the Prophet (s) what happened. So she was carrying these 2 babies and they are crying and she look through the whole house and she didn’t find but 3 dates I was saving them for you and me. How many dates you have in your house? [A lot.] How many dates we have in our house. No food. What they were eating was only dates. We eat all kinds of food. And we don’t say shukran lillahi. As if we are saying, “send more.”

So said, "I looked and I dint find except 3 dates in the whole house that I was saving, there is nothing. So I gave the 3 to her. She gave one to one baby girl and she gave the other one the other date. And in one second the dates are gone as these two babies are so hungry. So as soon as she give then the date they at the dates, they swallowed them even. And the mother took the date to eat and the daughters are looking at her. That means they are asking her. She took that date and divided it into two pieces. She gave one piece to one daughter and gave the other daughter the other piece. And the Prophet (s) said, "that lady saved herself from hellfire by that last date she gave her daughter.”

So that is why he gave another hadith, the famous hadith that “anyone who raises two daughters will enter Paradise.”

So she was able to save that third date that Sayyida Ayesha gave to her but she gave it to the two girls. The Prophet (s) house doesn’t have but 3 dates and our homes are full. So what we have to remind ourselves. Don’t worry too much about your life. Allah will not leave anyone too hungry. You are not better than the Prophet (s) who wrapped his stomach with two stones. Alhamdulillah we are reaching the point where we eat so much that even we go and vomit and eat again. That is a sickness that they go and vomit and eat again. And Ahl al-Bayt were living on hunger. Remind yourself that the Prophet (s) was hungry his children were hungry his family was hungry. If you don’t have everything at let you are not sleeping hungry. If you do that:

لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ

la’in shakartum la-azeedanakum - If you thank Me I give you more.” Ibrahim [14:7]

Why husband and wife fight? Because they don’t thank Allahswt. Why in general you did this, you did that. For what you are fighting? For dunya that doesn't weigh in Allah’s eyes the wing of a mosquito are we fighting for it? Yes we are fighting for it this is the problem. No one is trying not to fight. Husband and wife, children and parent all are fighting to get a piece.

Go. See the moon. One day I was with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, may Allah give him long life. He was looking at the moon of the 15th, perfect moon. He said to me, “you want the moon, I give it to you.” I didn’t understand it. It means that moon, you own it or you don’t own it what is it going to make a different if you own it, it is there, you cannot take it home with you and if you don’t own it you are not losing anything. This dunya, if you own you cannot take it home. Can you carry your home with you to akhira. Can you carry your bank accounts with you. Your bank account what do you see from them? A small plastic card. And do you see any more than that? And after a while they came and say your 401k is gone. I never heard of that before 4 months. I found out that is how the system works - that is your retirement fund and they force you to put it in the stock market. They force you. How do they say you have freedom of decision? They tell you “either take this package or that package.” So what do you want to do then? So you take this package and after a while it is gone. What is that justice? How many people lost? So you don’t take anything with you. Everything stays with them. So why to fight?

So that is why he said, La tukthir li hammik - don’t worry too much. La tukthir li hammik - don’t too much complicate your issue and your problem. Live the simple life. Village life is more important than city life. They say “the city is civilization.” City life is not civilization - it is deregulation and corruption. Village life is innocent. Go back to the village. It means go back to your nature. Go back to your Prophet. Go back to Allah. Don’t go back to those who give you a flashy life and say, "this is the life you need to live.” They give to you for one place and take from another place. Allah doesn’t do that He gives from both sides. Lean on what Allah wants - don’t lean on what they want to give you.

People come from the village, we cannot take it anymore. There is little sin there. People are soft and pure. Don’t mingle with those who are mafia.

I used to remember we used to go to Grandshaykh and Mawlana Shaykh and Shaykh Husayn. Go to make wudu. It is very cold at Fajr time. You see your hands after a while wounds from freezing water - these wounds are going to witness for you on Judgment Day that you had pain because of your wudu.

Today people don’t take wudu. You ask them why? They say there is no hot water. We need hot water. You be happy, in your country it is always warm you don need hot water.

First time I went to Indonesia and Malaysia, they take showers with cold water and they drink hot water. Food is sweet and dessert is salty. Food has to be made sweet and cakes and ice cream has to have salt in it. Water you drink has to be warm and water you shower with has to be cold. [Shaykh Mustafa: that is our custom] Don’t change the custom; live the way they like.

Don’t say, "We want to reform.” Can anyone reform Islam? Can anyone reform perfection? They are coming now with ideas, “reform”. Go and reform yourself. That is better.

Wa min Allah at-tawfeeq bi-hurmati 'l-Fatiha.

Taqabbal Allah.

Speak from the heart

Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, subhanAllah.

Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Kareem Allah.

Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Sultan Allah.

Allah swt is the Sultan, the King of kings. Is there any king except Allah swt? No.

King is the One that, …

Audhu billah min ash-Shaytan ir-rajeem

Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem

Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasula wa uli 'l-amri minkum

Obey Allah, obey the Prophet (s), and obey those who are on authority.

What is the meaning of a king? A king is that owns everything in his kingdom. King is the one that whatever he wants happens in his kingdom. And whenever he likes something, he will order and everyone must listen and accept. Everyone o f us feels he is a king for himself. No? King of himself. Whatever himself or herself, says, that person obeys. He doesn’t care for his wife, he doesn’t care for his children. The wife doesn’t care for her husband, the children don’t care for the parents. Every one thinks he is king for himself.

But a real king must have power forever. You cannot be king and someone will pull away your soul and you die. Then that one who pulled your soul is the king, not you.

Allah swt is the king and he is the only king and he is the One King and there is no any other king, is not considered a king but is considered a subject to Allah. Whatever level he reached in dunya, he is always a subject always a servant to Allah.

That is why the Prophet (s) said, "an-naasu sawaaasiyyatun ka asnaan al-musht - People are equal like teeth of a comb.” Allah the people here today and the people who are outside which we see on the streets, they are equal. Don’t say, “I am better than him or he is better than that one.” Judgment is not for us. Judgment is for the king.

In the jungle who is the king? Tarzan? There are too many Tarzans here.

He knows his name, we have one here.

He is super-Tarzan.

In the jungle, the lion can anyone stand in front of the lion? No. when he what you say in English, when he roars, every other creature in the jungle is shaking, even you, evn Tarzan.

Is it not? Tarzan will not shake? Even Tarzan who is able to work along with the king, he shakes. Why? Because lion is the king of the jungle.

Kings of today and kings of the past, they cannot be more than the lion. Whatever power they have they cannot be more than a lion.

You as a king to yourself cannot be more than a lion to yourself. But one day that lion is going, so how can you be king anymore. King on what? King on 3 feet by 6 feet. He will become a lion for the grave. He will be a king there, not more than that.

So we are here today, and Allah swt we have to know that Allah brought us together. It is not that we decided to come together and we came together. No.

Allah’s Will before He created us in earth, in His Will and in His knowledge He said, "This group of people are going to meet at this day at this time in this place in this city in this room. And that owner of that place is taking pictures.” Allah has written it before else this will never happen,

So we must not be proud. We must not be proud to ourselves and say, "O these people came to see this one or that one. We have to say because they are honorable people and we came to see them and to get blessings from them. Because if there was no one to whom are you going to talk? To the four walls. So who needs who? The speaker needs people to listen.

You can talk to the walls and then they say this one is crazy. Many people like to talk and sing in the bathroom. And more than that they like to go to the bathroom and smoke there.

Can you eat in the bathroom. What tawbah istaghfirullah. How you smoke in bathroom. That means that cigarette is as bad as that bathroom. Because al-jins ma` al-jins, the gender with the gender, that is a principle in Shariah. That smoke is similar to that, they are sucking your money only. You cannot eat there, but you can smoke there. So what does that mean? It means they are equal to each other.

Those who are smoking, I am not trying to criticize, but as much as possible we are trying to eliminate problems from our bodies that might harm it. Allah honored human beings so if he honored we must respect what he gave us.

Everyone knows that cigarette makes cancer, lung cancer. Still people are smoking. They know it is not accepted. You are harming your body and Allah said, "I gave you your body as a trust and you have to give it back to me as I gave it.” Are we clean now?

Don’t say we are clean Shaykh Mustafa. We changed. We didn’t change but we mixed what Allah honored us with something that is not honorable.

O people we are coming here to execute, to execute? To fulfill a requirement that Allah swt wrote it for us that this day we are going to meet altogether. So no one is better that any other. And the speaker is the lowest off everyone. Why? Because he is in need for everyone. Is it not? I will tell you why.

There was a very famous wali. He was considered and is still considered the Ghawth. Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu. Makan al-jannah. You heard about him. He has a calipha. He is in Baghdad. He has calipha that is very advanced and he is very old, near 80 years of age.

It is not by age. Sainthood is not by age. You might be a saint and seven years of age. If Allah wants it will happen. And you can be Shaykh of 7 years of age and you have mureeds of 60 years of age.

Do we have an example? `Isa Alayhissalam. Musa Alayhissalam. [Jesus and Moses].

“Ayna `Isa ayna Musa Ayna Nuh. Anta ya siddiq al-`asee. Tub ila al-mawla al-jaleel - Where is Musa Alayhissalam, where is `Isa Alayhissalam, where is Nuh? O Siddiq, you are for sure a disobedient servant. So repent to Allah the Almighty.”

Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq.

Illa tansuroohu faqad nasarahu Allahu idh akhrajahu alladheena kafaroo thaniya ithnayni idh huma fi ’l-ghari idh yaqoolu li-sahibihi la tahzan inna Allaha ma`ana fa anzala Allahu sakeenatahu `alayhi wa ayyadahu bi-junoodin lam tarawha wa ja`ala kalimata alladheena kafaroo as-sufla wa kalimatu Allahi hiya al-`ulya w’Allahu `azeezun hakeemun

If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, "Have no fear, for Allah is with us": then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise. At-Tauba [9:40]

Allah said in Holy Qur'an that He is the 2d , it means he is prophet and Sayyidina Abu Bakr, together, thani ithnayn idh huma fi ’l-ghar. They a re in a cave both of them and Sayyidina Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu is crying. Sayyidina Muhammad (s) looked at him and said, “Ya Aba Bakr, why are you crying?” that was when they were migrating from Mecca to Madina and they entered in the cave, by Allah’s order. Else the Prophet (s) would have moved and no one would have sent him but Allah wants to show us a miracle.

And they entered the cave and then Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu was in tears. And Sayyidina Muhammad (s) said, "why are you crying don’t be sad Allah is with us. Allah is with good people. Allah is with you, if you face little difficulties in dunya it is ok. Prophet faced lot of difficulties. You are not better.

He said to his companion, don’t cry, why are you crying. You are making my heart sad. It is enough that I am already sad for `Ali (r), karamAllahu wajhah. He is in my bed. When they came the unbelievers, they enemy want to kill the Prophet (s) and they knew he is going to sleep in that house and in that bed, what Sayyidina `Ali (r) said, He said, “Ya Rasulullah I will stay in the bed instead of you. If they will kill they kill me then you are safe and you go.

He gave his life. But where did he stay? In which bed? In the bed of Rasulullah. What is the meaning of that, it has a big meaning?

Do you let a stranger to sleep in your bed. No! He is French.

Pommes frites. French fries.

So where we now arrived? Ah Sayyidina `Ali (r). `Ali Reza! Why he stayed in the bed. Why the Prophet allowed it. Do you let anyone stay in your bed? [No!] He is the Prophet (s), you cannot, if you want to touch anything from relics of the Prophet (s), you have to do it with full respect. There are hairs of the Prophet around the world, when you open it up and look at it and you say, "ashhadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadan Rasulullah” as if you are saying shahada in front of the Prophet (s), because it is part of his beard.

There were three holy hairs with the last emperor of the Ottomans and one is in Topkapi Palace and when you go and say before it with a pure heart “ashhadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadan Rasulullah” that hair stands up and it moves.

And once I was with Mawlana and he said, ashhadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadan Rasulullah and I was young. And I said, "what is happening.” As if everything disappeared and you see that hair in a round cylinder and as soon as he said, "ashhadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadan Rasulullah” the hair was saluting back.

Because the Prophet (s) said, “whoever prays on me Allah sends back my soul to salute him back.” Immediately that hair was standing up.

You cannot touch anything from the Prophet’s relics. That bed that Sayyidina `Ali (r) stayed in it, made him to be “ana madinatul-`ilm wa `aliyyun baabuha – I am the city of knowledge and `Ali (r) is its door.” because he inherited in that moment what the Prophet (s) gave at that moment to Sayyidina `Ali (r). Why? Because he knows he is going to be dead - they will kill him. No he said, "They kill me, they kill me, I am staying there.”

He gave him that inheritance.

When you love the Prophet (s) with love like that there are different inheritances and the Prophet (s) will bless you with inheritance.

So when they were together in the cave and prophet said, " why are you crying ya Aba Bakr?” he said, "I am not crying because I am sad or I am worried about myself.” “Tell me why are you crying?” He said that in order for us to know, because the Prophet (s) knows already. He said, “Ya Rasulullah I am worried for you, that is why I am crying.” He said, “Allah revealed to me, la tahzan inna Allah ma`na - "Have no fear and do not be sad, for Allah is with us"

He said, “Ya Rasulullah! Look at my leg.” The Prophet (s) looked, a snake is eating the leg of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq.

What happened is when they entered that cave the Prophet (s) was tired. And he came inside and he said to abu baker you sit and I lied down. And he put his head on the leg of Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. And he was resting. But not resting, in fact he was in Mi’raj. That cave is a Mi’raj.

So Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was looking and he saw a hole, and you know in dserts and mountains, you look and you see holes. and you know the snakes go in these holes as they are cooler. And Sayyidina Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu put his toe in that hole and the snake came and found the foot of Sayyidina Abu Bakr Radiallahu anhu and what happened? It began to chew it. You know how they chew. They swallow it. If a snake will swallow your whole foot what will happen? All the poison is inside. The venom is inside. It will kill you immediately. Oh! Sayyidina Abu Bakr didn’t die. There is a secret there. He is chewing and chewing and reaching to the knee, and all the leg inside now. Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was in huge pain. But pain is not equal to love.

You say pain, when love is there, pain disappears. When you love someone you don’t feel the pain of the lover that he is giving to you. Because love gives you pain. But the pain of the love is stronger than pain of the snake; he was not feeling the pain of the snake but he was feeling the pain of the lover of Sayyidina Muhammad (s) that this snake is going to eat me and then he is going to eat the prophet. For that reason he was crying. And one drop of these tears came on the cheek of the Prophet (s). And he awoke and said, “Why are you crying?”

Immediately Allah sent that verse, “la tahzan - don’t be sad” and He sent His peacefulness on him. And the Prophet (s) said to the snake, “Don’t you know flesh of Trustworthy people, siddiqiyoon is forbidden to eat? Why are you eating the leg of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. It is haram on you to eat it. Drop it immediately.” The snake immediately pulled back and said to the Prophet (s), “Ya Rasulullah!” in Arabic language, full Arabic. The snake said, “Ya Rasulullah! Allah swt created me 40,000 years ago. And when we knew about your coming my love to you exceeded everything. I asked Allah to give me life to see you. And Allah responded and said, " I am giving you life to my Beloeved Prophet. And when you came to this cave I was waiting to see you, out of love to you. The leg of Abu Bakr as-Siddiq was filling that hole, blocking that order of Allah. And I was eating that leg because I am yearning to see you. But I am eating without harming it.”

Then the Prophet (s) said, "look at me now.” And the snake looked and said, “Allahuma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad..” And she said ashhadu an la ilaha illa-Allah wa ashhadu anna muhammadan Rasulullah. And will a snake say that? Of course, Allah said:

تُسَبِّحُ لَهُ السَّمَاوَاتُ السَّبْعُ وَالأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهِنَّ وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ يُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدَهِ وَلَـكِن لاَّ تَفْقَهُونَ تَسْبِيحَهُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ حَلِيمًا غَفُورًا

Tusabbihu lahu as-samawatu as-sab`u wa ’l-ardu wa man feehinna wa in min shayin illa yusabbihu bi-hamdihi wa laakin la tafqahoona tasbeehahum innahu kana haleeman ghafooran.

The seven heavens and the earth, and all beings therein, declare His glory: there is not a thing but celebrates His praise; And yet ye understand not how they declare His glory! Verily He is Oft-Forbear, Most Forgiving! Al-Isra [17:44]

.. Every creature on earth mountains, trees and everything else knows Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is the Prophet and that he is the reason for creating everything.

Then as soon as she finished she died. She became smaller and smaller and smaller and disappeared.

So Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq Radiallahu anhu when he is seeing these things and when he heard the hadith of the prophet of Allah “don’t leave me to myself for the blink of an eye?”…

Who said that? The Prophet (s) said that to the Sahaba, this famous hadith. “O Allah don’t leave me to myself for the blink of an eye? I will be lost.” If the Prophet (s) is saying that, then what about us? Are we left to our ego or not? Do we listen to our ego or not? Can you do anything without your ego’s permission? No, you cannot.

Wa ma ubarriu nafsee inna an-nafsa la-ammaaratun bi’s-soo’i illa ma rahima rabbee inna rabbee ghafoorun raheem.

"Nor do I absolve my own self (of blame): the (human) soul is certainly prone to evil, unless my Lord do bestow His Mercy: but surely my Lord is Oft- forgiving, Most Merciful." Yusuf [12:53]

So the prophet said, "O Allah don’t leave me to myself for the blink of an eye?” when Sayyidina Abu Bakr heard that he diapered no one knew where he went. The Prophet (s) found him in Ka`bah crying. He said, "why are you crying?” Sayyidina Abu Bakr said, "O Prophet you are saying this; what about us? What about me?

What did he do? He took a pebble. If you have stone in your mouth can you talk anymore? Doctor? You are a dentist. What will happen? He will crack all his teeth. He put a stone in his mouth for 7 years in order not to talk nonsense. When he prays he takes it out and the rest of time he puts it in his mouth.

Think about what we are doing.

That is why he was sitting and crying. Ayna Musa, ayna `Isa, ayna nuh, anta ya Siddiq `aasee, tub il al-mawla al-jaleel.

He was singing to himself. Sometimes when you are overwhelmed you begin to talk to yourself. That means, if the Prophet (s) is saying to himself, “O Allah don’t leave me to myself for the blink of an eye?” “Where then is `Isa, where is Musa Alayhissalam, what about Nuh? You as-Siddiq are disobedient to Allah. Repent to Allah.”

That is Sayyidina Abu Bakr as-Siddiq. What about us?

We are in a situation that as I said before, that we don't get tired from committing sins and what did Allah say to prophet because Sayyidina Muhammad (s) was worried about his Ummah; always he is saying, “Ya Rabbee, my nation, my nation.”

Allah said to Muhammad (s), “Ya Muhammad, who is better you or Me? Who is their creator? Who put that love in your heart to them? I gave you a nation that doesn’t get tired of committing sins and I am your Lord that I don’t get tired of forgiving them.”

[naray takbir! Nary risalah]

I gave you an Ummah that doesn’t get tired of doing anything and I am their Lord and I don’t get tired of forgiving them. Take them and go to Paradise. That is shafa`at an-nabi. his intercession.

Ya Muhammad. I gave everyone a heart. And in that heart I make five levels? How many chambers in the heart?

[four] four. We have a doctor here. Four chambers. In every chamber I put a level. For everyone. I gave him an ascension in every chamber that he can ascend. And I put a small place a clot inside, that is the place that Shaytan can come in. that is the fourth, actually that is the first one.

I gave your Ummah that heart and I gave these secrets with it.

And people might say what how we have in our hearts. We cannot see in it.

Not finding anything. No we believe in what the prophet said. What he said? Allah revealed to him in a holy hadith ma wasi`naee … mumin.

Neither my heavens nor my earth contained me but the heart of my belier contained me.

Is it not? So it means what is in the heart?

We are not yet in the level of the believer. He said the heart of the believer will contain me. So it means “I am preparing these treasures in everyone’s heart when you reach level of believer I open for you.”

That is for you; I don’t need it.

So that is why in every heart here are four chambers. First there is sirr, then sirr as-sirr. Zooming in. Like when you zoom in and zoom out. When you zoom out what you see? Less details. When you zoom in what you see? More details

First level is secret. That is already secret means it is already zoomed in.

They sell you juice today, either concentrated or diluted. If it is concentrated you must put water in it to dilute it. If you drink it concentrated you will burn your stomach.

But in secret when you zoom in, you go to secret of secret you don’t care if you burn yourself or not, you will burn in order to reach that level. That is why we say awliyaullah burn themselves that is level of annihilation. They burn themselves in order ot pull out from the secrets.

And how that knowledge came to us. They dove in and brought it out.

So second sirr as-sirr, third khafa and fourth akhfa, most hidden.

The first is for those awliyaullah in the first level. And the next level of awliyaullah are able to access sirr as-sirr. And in the fourth level is accessible to the Prophet and the fifth level is accessible to Allah.

So what Allah put in those levels no one knows.

So we go back to where we were at beginning. Where were we? We go back to Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu. You are good listener.

Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu was a very famous saint, wali in his time. And I give you an example. One lady comes always, she is student of Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu and when he gives lessons to ladies she comes and attends. But she is a lady that comes early, always she likes to come early. And she looks and she sees Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu sitting with his men students. Like 40 of them. And they have their lunch, late lunch. And everyone in front of him is a big. Not a leg. You know these big turkeys, like this, a big rooster. Everyone in front of him is a big rooster. And 40 of them sitting around the shaykh. And the shaykh makes du`a. Many people don’t recite du`a and that is why there’s no baraka. They begin to eat and they finish the whole rooster and even with the bones. That lady was very poor, and said to herself, “If they considered me a cat they would have left the bones for me, but no way.” Every day she comes to get some bones but no way. Then she had an idea for herself: “I will take my son and take him to Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu to be his student then he will have a rooster and he will eat half and I will take half.”

So she went to Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu and said, "Will you take my son as a student?” He said, "are you sure?” “yes.” So he said, “yes.” She was expecting to see her son with very much food, eating. And he said, "I accept him, leave him and come back in 40 days.” So she was expecting to get all these bones and whatever meat is on them she will take that, whether it is smelly or not, she doesn’t care.

So she came back after the 40 days and saw 40 students and she found them eating roosters. She didn’t ser her son. And she asked Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu “where is my son?” So Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu said to a servant, “take her to see her son.”

So he took her under the building in the basement and there is a small room. And it is dark, there is no light there. Her son is there and in front of him is dry bread and salt and water. Do you eat that? [no.] And she was so upset. She went to Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, "O I am coming complaining!” And the students got afraid. How she complains to Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, and he is the Ghawth? How she comes and criticizes the shaykh? Everyone was putting his head down and afraid the lady will say something and the shaykh will do one move and she will be finished. Awliyaullah have power in their hearts.

But they have mercy in their hearts.

So said, "I was expecting my sone to come and be like you and by like these ones; to be eating a rooster.” And he said, "O my sister, in order to reach the level that he can eat a rooster whole, with the bones, he must first go underground in a cave to destroy compleely his ego, eat as he is eating there for one year. In order to eat a rooster with the bones. All of the students went under that experience.”

Are we undergoing this training and discipline? No, we are not. If we don’t have 20 different foods on table we curse our wives. Especially Arabs. I don’t know Pakistanis if they are the same?

[Of course they are same.]

Are you Pakistani? Because this is broadcasting, we don’t want people to think there is no Pakistani there. And French [yes!]

Is it not? In order to be able to eat a rooster he has to go through that experience. It is not easy. Sainthood is not easy.

So we come back to the story, we begin with it. Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu had a student older than him in age but he sends him to give lectures, to give advice to his students. And when he gives advice everyone is listening. You don’t hear even the sound of needle when it falls on the floor. Here, we hear lot of voices - everyone is talking and everyone is speaking and the speaker is talking and no one is listening.

You know in the time of Grandshaykh, if we sit to listen to a lecture, if someone is scratching his head he shouts at him “you cannot do that. You bring the level of my lecture seven levels down; you have to keep focusing and you must not be looking into my eyes, looking down and giving full attention.”

He said, "Sultan al-Awliyaullah when they speak, everyone, every wali is ordered to listen to them.” This Grandshaykh, not us. Awliyullah, Sultan al-Awliya, when they speak have special headsets, not normal headsets they are hearing the advice of the Grandshaykh. In every century there is a Grandshaykh, a Sultan al-Awliya that every wali has to listen. So when you scratch your face in his suhbat then you are lowering the level of his lecture. That means that for all these saints that are there the level is lowered.

Now when we sit with Mawlana Shaykh we sit one with his leg like that. One with his foot up.

So today you cannot be strict like that. There is another tajallis coming down. That is why awliyaullah today they don’t say to their students anything. Let them do what they like.

They ask, “Pray for me.” “Ok, I am praying for you.” “Can I do this?” “Yes, do it.” “Can I do that?” “Yes, do that.” “Can I pray?” “Yes pray.” “Can I not pray?” “No you must pray.” That might be question mark.

So when Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu is giving his lecture no movement. And all scholars they don’t give their lectures to us, like normal people. No their lectures are for the highest level people. Evyerone is opening his eyes and listening.

That one, that professor or scholar has a son. The one that Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu sends to speak. That son has studied the whole Islamic religion, its laws, its principles, Qur’an and Tafsir, memorized the Holy Qur'an in different riwayat, in 14 different ways. He said, "When my father speaks, everyone is opening his eyes. If I speak what will happen? All those who are listening will be 100 times more enchanted. I hope I get opportunity to speak.”

So subhanAllah that father who is a big saint and a representative of Sayyidina Abdul Qadir Jilani Qaddasallahu Sirrahu, he was detecting that in the heart of his son.

So one day he said to his son, "O my son, I am sick today. I cannot go and give lesson to the people. You go and speak to the people.” The son his wish had come true, was so happy. He was going to speak to the people more than his father. And he sat on chair and began to speak. And he is speaking so nicely. And everyone there, “haahha. [snores]. They are sleeping. And no one opening his eyes. And he opens his eyes and looked, they are all sleeping as if they took sleeping pill. What happened. They didn’t know, so he left and went to his father. His father looked at him before he said anything said, “O my son did they sleep?” “How did you know?” He said, "Of course I know. I knew your wish when it came to your heart. And I knew they would sleep because you were arrogant.

O my son you have to know that when I speak I consider what I say, is an advice for me first. I have to fulfill it I have to do it. I haveto experience it. I see myself the lowest among them. They are better than me and they are higher than me. Andw hatever I say is for my benefit to learn as I am getting from their hearts, as the believer is mirraaat akhee. The mu’min is a mirror for his brother or sister. They are my mirror. They are mirrors. When I speak I will get back my picture and will get my shortcoming, because they are mirrors. They come with humbleness to me and when I address them I look in the mirror. When I look in the mirror I see my wild characters. Sothen I know what I say is addressed ot myself. And what I say, they may take it or not. So that is why they open their eyes. But you, you were arrogant. You thought they are in need of what they say?”

You go to conferences. Raise your hand. [some raise hands] O, you go to conferences? Many professors here. You go to conference and half or more are sleeping and the speaker is speaking. Why? Because he is reading from the paper. Whatever he put in that paper is full of egoism. When he was writing he was thinking, “I know more than everyone.” That is why they sleep - they want to give to him back, “What you are saying is garbage.”

I went once to a conference in Los Angeles. It was [organized by] Harvard University Medical School. It was around 4000 doctors. It was a doctor conference. And it was about differences between modern medicine and traditional methods of medicine. I don’t know how they picked me, but they said, "speak from the Muslim perspective” and I was among 17 speakers for a three day conference. And doctors coming from around the world.

I prepared a paper you have to prepare a paper else they will not consider you anything. Is it not doctor, you have to prepare a paper to make a presentation. I was looking and seeing everyone seeping

So Mawlana said to me, in my heart, “Don’t use the paper.” So that is why I don’t use the paper in conferences. I prepare a paper but I don’t use it.

And he said to me, “speak to them directly.” I was struggling how am I going to speak to all these big doctors from around the world, Japanese, Korean, US, Canadian, from everywhere. I think it was 1998.then they call my name, come and speak.

Allahu Akbar. What you want to speak? I begin to speak. Don’t ask me what I spoke.

Every five minutes, you have 45 minutes to speak and then answer questions.

And every five minutes they were clapping. And it made the organizer, who is Dr. Benson, his name, tell the audience, “please stop clapping because the other speakers are getting upset: why are they clapping for you and you are Muslim and they didn’t clap for the others?”

And Mawlana made my tongue to be… and they had immediate recording of the lectures. And first lecture was sold immediately and the Muslim speech, that is my speech, 2800 copies were sold after I spoke; the second was from the Jewish community, and the third was from the Christian community.

What I said, I don’t know. When I gave my presentation I said “you can read the paper I prepared and you can copy and distribute more if you like.” Then I spoke. Speak from the heart people like. And when you speak from the heart, people will like it, when you speak from the ego, people don’t like it. Because when you speak from the heart you are zooming into the sirr, sirr as-sirr, khafa and akhfa: secret, secret of the secret, hidden and most hidden.

Where is ismullah al-`adham? ismullah al-`adham is in your heart.

Sayyidina Musa Alayhissalam asked, “Ya Rabbee teach me ismullah al-`adham. Because what name you can say to something “be” and it will be. Allah said, "no, why do you want to know that?”

That is why it came in Holy Qur'an

Wa lamma jaa musa li-meeqatina wa kallamahu rabbuhu qaala rabbi arinee andhur ilayka qaala lan taraanee wa lakini unthur ila al-jabali fa’ini ’staqarra makaanahu fasawfa taraanee fa-lamma tajalla rabbuhu li ’l-jabali ja`alahu dakkan wa kharra moosa sa`iqan fa-lamma aafaaqa qaala subhaanaka tubtu ilayka wa ana awwalu al-mumineen.

When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: "O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee." Allah said: "By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe." Al-A`raf [7:143]

When Musa Alayhissalam asked about IsmAllah al-`adham it means you want to see me. If you want to see me look at the mountain and I will manifest my Beautiful Names and Attributes on the mountain and if it stays in its place then you see me. But when he manifested to the mountain fell to peices and Musa Alayhissalam fainted.

Law anzalna hadha ’l-qurana `ala jabalin la-raaytahu khashi`an mutasaddi`an min khashyatillahi wa tilka al-amthaalu nadribuha li ’n-nasi la`allahum yatafakkaroona

Had We sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitudes which We propound to men, that they may reflect. Al-Hashr [59:21]

Allah said if we revealed the Holy Qur'an on mountain the whole mountain will shatter down. Because in Holy Qur'an is Ismullah al adham and that is why awliyaullah say I it is in the first verses of every surah you have to read the first 2 ayat one by one.

So Allah aid if we reveal the Holy Qur'an to mountain it will shatter but Allah revealed ot prhoet and he didtn hatter.

So Allah said, “Don’t ask anything. If I want to give I give.”

Prophet Muhammad (s) didn’t ask anything. Only he was asking for his Ummah, “Ya Allah! Give me my Ummah!”

So Ismullah al-`adham, Allah is saying that “O Muhammad! The Greatest Name is there in the heart of My servants. That is why I said,

يقول الله : ما وسعني أرضي ولا سمائي ولكن وسعني قلب عبدي المؤمن

‘Neither heavens nor earth contained Me but the heart of My servant contains Me.’”

The Prophet (s) said [in qudsee hadith] Allah swt says, “If My servant makes mention of Me within himself, I make mention of him within Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assembly better than it. And if he draws near to Me a handspan, I draw near to him an arm’s length; and if he draws near to Me an arm’s length, I draw near to him a fathom’s length. And if he comes to Me walking, I come to him running.”

Allah is saying, “Come to Me. If you come to Me one hand I come to you one arm and if you come to Me one arm, I come to you one

O Muslims! O believers and unbelievers! Everything is based on four letters in English. And in Arabic four letters. Everything is based on these four letters. In Arabic if you want to translate in English It is four letters in French It is five letters. Pommes frites. French fries.

Is it ok?

You like pommes frites or you like French fires? [pommes frites]

You are lying. What you like pommes frites. You are English - French fries.

Ask them who likes pommes frites. Do you like French fries or not? No it has to be pommes frites.

So that word French added one letter to that word. In Arabic it is two letter and can be four letters. In English four letters and in French five letters. That is what everything is based on . don’t look for anything else.

The Bedouin came to the Prophet (s) and asked, “when is Judgment Day?” And the Prophet (s) said, “What have you prepared for that?”

What do you have? Huh? Did you prepare anything for Judgment Day? Say, "yes." Don’t say, “no.” If we keep saying, “yes, yes, yes, oui, oui, oui,” then angels will believe you and they will write "yes. He believes in that." Allah’s servants will write. Allah’s angels are pure, they will believe. So we say do you believe in that? We say, "Yes, yes, yes. Oui, oui, oui. Na`m na`m, na`m.”

Now all of them on right side look all of them said, "yes ya Rabbee.” What we have to write.

Write yes, they are accepting what that Bedouin says.

There was a wali goes from village to village. He goes on the minbar immediately without asking permission. He doesn’t ask anyone - not like today. Today, you have to ask the Board of Directors. Look what this one is doing and what they are doing today in mosques around the country.

So judge for yourself after that story. So he goes to a city and there is one mosque here and one mosque there.

And he goes up the minbar and says, alhamdulillah alladhee hadana li al-islami wa’l-iman wa ma kunna li nahtadee law la an hadana Allah. Praise be to Allah who guided us to Islam and we would not have been guided if He had not guided us

In French. Alhamdulillah alladhee hadan lil islam.

He began like that and then he claps like that. [boom ,boom.]

When he claps he attracts their attention: clap! [everyone claps]

Enough.

He is clapping. So he claps and he says, “Everyone cry now! All of you now you must cry!” Without speaking, tears begin to come from their eyes with his power.

Then what he does? He claps again, and now they stop crying. And then he claps and he says, “laugh” and they begin to laugh. He raises his hand and says, “Ya Rabbee! These are Your servants. And when they see me and they listen to me, they begin to cry for their sins. And after that they begin to laugh, they are happy that You forgave them. It is easy is it not?”

Yes? Oui? Why is that? Because of these four letters.

So the Bedouin said, "I have prepared.” Prophet said, "what have you prepared it is long travel?” he said, “Ya Rasulullah it is too much for me, but I prepared one thing.” “What is that?” “I have prepared your love, O Muhammad (s).” The Prophet (s) said, “That is enough for you.” He left and went. He didn’t enter the mosque even.

Allah because created us He loves us. When a wali loves his Lord his heart is full of secrets. He gives secrets to that one, like you give secrets to your wife or your wife gives secrets to you. When you know your wife you give secrets to her after you are engaged and when you are married with her you give her all your secrets. Do you hide anything? Might be if you want to cheat. Why are you laughing, are you cheating? If all your secrets you give t o your wife and all you wife’s secrets she gives to you.

So what do you think about the Creator of secrets. When you love Him and love His prophet then it will burn every sin completely.

When we love the Prophet (s) and love Allah we listn to what hey ask us to do, we will follow and obey. That is why Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasula wa uli 'l-amri minkum - We will “Obey Allah and obey the Prophet, and obey those in authority.”

[During dhikr: after completing la ilaha illa-Allah. ]

Just now they opened to me a vision. They opened the vision of a huge angel, that angel descended and with the power Allah gave it, it cleaned us of all our sins.

Go back to the village

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani | Tuesday, Sep 30, 2008 | Burton, MI US
ASIM

Allahuma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad

I am a little bit debating where I begin. Every one of Grandshaykh notes is like an ocean.
I am turning pages and I say, "O I speak from this” then the other page has more.

Audhu billah min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem
Nawaytu'l-arba`een, nawaytu'l-`itikaaf, nawaytu'l-khalwah, nawaytu'l-riyaada, nawaytu's-salook, nawaytu'l-`uzlah lillahi ta`ala fee hadha'l-masjid

Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasula wa uli 'l-amri minkum

May Allah swt bless Grandshaykh soul, and give long life to our Shaykh, Shaykh Nazim and insha-Allah to give us long life to see Mahdi.
Wherever you open the pages of Sayyidina Grandshaykh. It is like an ocean. It might take on year. If I go from the beginning, this subhat has been given 11 Sha`ban 1391. 38 years ago.
He said, "title of every action or `amal you want to do have to put in front of you, a note in front of your eyes, that you have to be under Ati` Allah wa ati` ar-rasula wa uli 'l-amri minkum. There are 3 issues. To obey Allah, to obey the prophet and to obey those in authority.[4:59]
He said If you want power of this life, the strength of this life and akhira, if you want happiness in dunya, you want happiness in akhira, if you are no t in need of a doctor or you don’t want a guide, then you have to follow these 3 issues: Obey Allah, obey the Prophet (s) and obey those in authority. [4:59]
If you do that then Allah will give you happiness in dunya and happiness in akhira.
When you say Ati` Allah –Allah that is an ocean we cannot limit it. It means surrender to Allah swt. Ok when we say ati`-Allah what does it mean? Obey Allah. What to obey.
It means in this obedience, in that word, the secret, but not only secrete but everything that is created is under that khitaab address.
So when you obey it means all these what are created it is opened up to you to know about. He said, "all holy books that Allah revealed to his prophet and the Holy Qur'an that Allah revealed to the Prophet, when we obey all the knowledge that is in these holy books and all their secrets will enter their heart. If you are really obedient. What is it to be a wali, to be obedient.
Kullu `uloom al-munazall bi kull haqa’iq all of the knowledge of these books with all their secrets will be given to the wali.
How many letters in Holy Qur'an? Nearly 500,000. how many verses of Holy Qur'an, 6,666. 4 sixes. Multiply 4 x 6 what happened 24. 2 + 4 = 6.
Every verse is made of words and every word is made of letter and every letters awliyaullah must take from each at least 12,000 oceans of knowledge.
Allah opened from 24,000 to 12,000 knowledge up to the level of that wali. And that knowledge is to the levels of al-`arif billah. We have to go into meaning of `arif billah. I started first page. That was from 8th page.
So imagine 500,000 letters and multiplied by 24,000 meanings or knowledges. If you read it one time then read it another time then it is a different set of meanings and knowledge. [yartada ilayk tarfak..]
That enters under what? Under Ati` Allah. We cannot claim that wilayah is so simple. Wilayah is so difficult to reach but not so difficult to give to people if they are in love with Allah and His Prophet. It is so difficult to give if it is based on your work. But if based on love then is it so easy to give.
So then look at ourselves. We are representatives. representatives on what? On eating and drinking not more.
But on knowledge it is difficult. We are waiting for them to give us.
You are on the truck. Even it is slow.
In past they have trains that run on coal. Later the introduce trains that run on electricity. Today they have turbine train that go like a rocket.
Depends on what track we are using. If we are using coal we go slowly but we reach they be happy with you. Ajalla al-karamaat dawaam at-tawfeeq - The best of miracles is the continuity. Be slow but consistent.
So awliyaullah put them under that dress of ati-Allah. When you obey then you can go inside you be able to open it.
He said, “if you follow that, obedience, we know you cannot reach full obedience, but if you obey on one, then Allah will take away the whole kufr that is in you. Allah will pull it out, if you are on the truck.
What is obedience. What does it mean to obey? We give a small example. For example when you fast you are obeying. You obey when you give charity is it not? You obey if you pray. You obey when you do good. Is It correct? [yessir!}
That is for sure. That is not the obedience they want from you. For sure you have to do that. What is the obedience they want? When you face a sin and you say, "O Allah I faced a sin for you and I dropped it from my desire. You try to stop yourself form a sin, then Allah will reward it to your more than what you are praying to stop yourself from committing a forbidden. That he said is more difficult than praying day or night. Because it will throw all its power to stop you from obedience. It is not simple
So that is the cost of it. Awliyaullah in their lives they stopped their bad desires.
Os everything comes back on these 4 enemies, nafs, dunya, hawa, shaytan.
Then you are on obedience then Allah will take all kufr away from you. He will say "My servant did not follow his desires, I am giving him whatever he wants."
See the words of awliyaullah you cannot find these in books. I was reading from so many books before but from Grandshaykh's knowledge you cannot find anyone who spoke like that.
He said, that "if a kafir will work from his book for 40 hours, then whole dunya will be under his command." Who said that before? Nobody. Because they have no courage. They have no idea about this knowledge. This knowledge is for someone who obeys Allah.
He said, that is an unbeliever acts on the book that Allah has sent for him and acts with sincerity Allah will make the entire dunya under his control. But he said, at the end, there is no one that can do that.
He said if they can do that, then they can command under their command.
But no one in this time will really follow with sincerity what is in their books. It means before there were. But now where is not. Fee hadhal waqt. If the unbeliever is like that what do you think of the one who believes in Holy Qur'an. What you think about the one who is always on his tongue and dhikr an-Nabi (s). what do you think he will be getting ? to read one letter from one surah it has enough light to guide you and save you in Judgment Day.
That is why Grandshaykh said, "Take your finger, and put it under the letters and move it under the letters and that will purify you, that is light. That will give you enough power to take you to Paradise."
There are people who are reading Qur’an through curiosity. They are interested to know about Islam. For sure those who read that way will be saved in last moment. Except those who are studying for attacking. That is a different issue.
And we skip forward here to Ati` ar-rasul.
He said that there are at least 300,000 to 500,00 hadith. He said, "the meaning of ati` ar-rasul is that if you obey out of these 500,000 hadiths, one hadith for forty days, your heart will be filled with all kinds of wisdom and all kinds of negativity and najasa that are within will be taken out and dumped. And everything from the Beautiful Names and Attributes with the interceding of the Prophet (s) He will send it to your heart. Following one hadith. But halan fa`lan. By mouth and by action. Take one hadith and follow, you will end up what Grandshaykh was saying.
And he said, "that anyone who is doing that will enter the ocean of shafa`t an-Nabi (s) and the Prophet (s) will be monitoring him always, bringing him back to the same track, not to go right or left or to fall in hellfire.
Faman shadda shadda feen-naari abadan. Whoever deviates will fall into the fire."
What does that mean? If you follow the hadith of the Prophet, and you are following that hadith for 40 days, and your ego is pushing you to deviate right or left. If you deviate what will happen? You fall into the fire. That doesn’t mean jahannam here; it means you will feel the pain of not reaching the presence of the Prophet and it will be delayed that you feel the fire of not reaching him.
That one hadith is enough to follow for 40 days that you can reach presence of the Prophet (s).
He said, "the first 3 days after a child is born he can see everything. When a child is born, what does he do? He cries. Why he asked, does he cry. Because he said , they cannot come out. Allah will freeze their tongues. Let them cry. He doesn’t want to come to this dunya. He doesn’t want to come to see this dirtiness in this dunya. Inside he is in seclusions, he is clean. And he said that for 3 days he can see and he can hear and he can praise his Lord and praise the Prophet (s). Imagine that someone no sin on him, praising Allah and praising the Prophet. Someone who is keeping his tongue wet with dhikrullah. What will happen to him? He will go to paradise.
Everyone on earth did praise Allah and praise the Prophet (s). The moment he comes out of the womb of his mother he is praying and crying non-stop for 3 days. What do you think Allah will do for someone who does that for 3 days? That is why Allah said, yulid al-insanu ala al-fitrah.
That is why we say, “children are innocent and no sins are written on him.” What do you think about an innocent person who is doing dhikrullah. He will do it on perfect worship. With `Ishk he will be doing 3 days of worship with true love. And those 3 days, how long Allah will stretch them to become, might be for 20 days, might for 20 years.
He said some children will not be veiled. And he said that "since the age of five or lower, in his city, but not in big cities in the old time, anyone who wants to come and marry, the bride and groom come, or the parents come and ask him, 'what about this marriage?'”
He was five years of ages or less. Most of them come to him asking him which boy the girl has to marry or which girl is good for the boy. He said, "never did Allah close my eyes. Since birth I read the names on the Preserved Tablets. And I tell them this one for that one and this one for that one.”
That is why most of that city was full of sincere people. Not like now you choose without knowing what you are doing. Men or women. at age 5 he was choosing for people , and it will come a good match.
Now they are making a commercial now only to make money. Website for singles. We match you. What you match? You are matching dogs, donkeys with pigs. Dogs with pigs, what are you matching.
You know how to match? Computer knows how to match? No more value, value is lost. And today even Muslims learned from others and they are matching because the parents are giving a lot of troubles to the children. If not the parents the culture and the society are giving a lot of trouble. They are giving very hard time for someone to find someone good. And after a time they come crying that “my son has problem, my daughter has problem.”
If you are going to live like that, go back to the village. It is your responsibility so you decided to come to “civilization “ but don’t come and complain later.
You want everything to be democracy, democracy so pay $700,000,000,000.00.
The rich become richer and the poor become poorer, that is democracy is it not Shaykh taher?
For mu’mins, faman shadhdh shadhdha feen-naari abada. For the mu’min, fire is to be away from his Lord, to be cut from being connected. The Prophet (s) wants you to follow his hadith up to the end in order not to be disconnected.
He said, "Whatever Allah gave to the Prophet, he is ready to give to his Ummah. But come to him. You want to move like an ant you receive like an ant. You want to receive like a cheetah, then you receive more than the others, you will be the first. Don’t be lazy. Don’t look back. You look back you lose. Be consistent."
It means don’t spend your eyes on something not necessary. Unfortunately we are falling into a life where all you spend you life in wasting it.
Before what were they doing? Planting the crops, planting their fields. Getting their crops, fixing their food. Digging wells and drinking. And writing books. And teaching students learning from scholars. Is there more that that? Now everything is completely different.
It means go back to the village. The village is in your heart. The heart always wants to be relaxed. Ala bi-dhikrillah tatma’in al-quloob. We want peacefulness this is what you need to do.
As much as you love your children, you must love the Prophet (s) at least one percent. The Prophet (s) is saying "if you love me one percent I will give you everything."
How much you love your children? You would kill yourself for your children. What will they benefit you? Especially in this culture. They come at the end and give you a hard time. You prepare everything for them and at the end they only want to bury you quickly and never they will visit your grave.
But go back to the village you came from, you will find yourselves day and night at the grave of your parents; mother and father. You say Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem for them. As we said in the previous sessions that man who left his wife pregnant and died. And that man was a criminal and his grave always in snowy times was dry and hot and in the village they used ot hear someone crying, like someone who has a very deep wound, moaning. They used to hear that moaning, crying. When his son became 7 years they took him to the shaykh to teach him Qur’an. He looked at him and said, "your father was the worst criminal and I know you don’t have money to teach you, but I will teach you for Allah’s sake. Say 'Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem'!" and he said, "Bismillahi 'r-Rahmani 'r-Raheem. That child with them. That night the whole village, with the imam and the child they all saw a dream where Allah said to the one in the grave, "How am I going to punish you when your son is praising Me?" They saw the snow now coming on the grave.
Give one small love to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) as you love your children. And keep in mind that they are going to leave you one day. You feel sad, you give, you give, you give, but they don’t care. They say to you, "I want to move from the home, I want to be independent. I want to live by myself."
Why do you want to live by yourself? What is the excuse. "I want to be away from you." "For what you want to be away?" And they tell you still send us money and cars and money and everything. They want everything from you and they want to be away. And what do we do? We say, “yes ok, no problem.” the Prophet (s) is saying, “I give you what you like, come only one step towards me.”
That is why in the holy hadith of the Prophet (s), “Whoever comes to Me one hand I come one arm and whoever comes to Me walking I come to him running."
One step is enough to get in Presence of the Prophet and the Presence of Allah. So in forty days of sincere striving you will get all these knowledges.
Allahuma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad.
All knowledges that Allah gave to Sayyidina Muhammad, the Prophet (s) gave to anbiyaullah although they were before him. He was giving them because his light was in their foreheads. He was reaching them through that light that was in Sayyidina Adam’s forehead and that light was transferring from one nabi to another. And all the knowledge that was given to the prophets was distributed by the Prophet (s), “Ana al-qassim.”
His name is al-qassim.” Ana al-mahiy wa ana al-qassim, wa ana taha wa Yasin - And I am the one who takes the sins away and erases them. And I am the one who takes from Allah and distributes to all creation.”
All knowledge is in his hand. So come to him for one hadith and see what kind of miracles will occur.
We are praising the Prophet (s) and many are praising the Prophet (s) around the world but if really that is coming from the heart, Allah will open for you whatever is in heavens and in earth.
Like that story that I said yesterday.
Someone asked me are you going to do suhbat? I said, "no, you can go home.” Then suhbat came.
As I said yesterday, I was sitting before Maghrib and phone ringing, Ishaq gave me the line. He said, "O someone from Mecca wants to speak with you. I know him. He mentioned his name and I took the phone and he mentioned about Eid. “Eid mubarak. May Allah bless you bless us and bless Mawlana Shaykh.” And then he said, "I saw a dream, strange dream.” I said, "a dream or a vision?” He said, "no a dream.” I know that person, he is Ahl al-Bayt and he always writes qasidas of praise for the Prophet (s).
He said, “I saw a dream where is saw very tall shaykh and I knew him; he was Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. And I saw another shaykh besides him, but shorter. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim is not saying anything but looking and observing.”
Sultans they observe. They leave their doorkeepers to interfere; to bring the prey.
That short one, he said, " look at me” and he said, "did you see Allah?” and “did you hear Allah?” and that one who saw the dream was frightened and was shaking and he said, "no.” he said, "do you want to see?” he said, "my heart was excited” and he wants to see, and he said, "he knew what I want.” He took my shahada finger and put it on my jugular vein. And he begins to hear his heart saying “Allah, Allah, Allah” then he began to hear it louder and louder and then he saw a huge explosion that he had never seen anything like it before and he said, "my heart was rejoicing at what I was seeing. I was no longer able to take it and like you have goosebumps and my whole body was shaking. Then he took his head and disappeared along with Mawlana Shaykh Nazim. Then I woke up and I felt something burning there (on his neck). I looked in the mirror and I saw the print of the finger on my neck.”
That was two days ago.
Awliyaullah reach anyone at any moment. If that one is moving towards the door of the awliyaullah, moving towards the door of the Prophet (s). That one is moving towards door of Mawlana and of course he will receive that sort of treatment. His sins will be taken and replace by all kinds of goodness.
We stop here.
